NB : for security reasons, new versions of CertiPhoto (starting from 1.8.24) only run from Android 8.0 and on non-rooted devices.Designed and developed by a legal forensics expert, CertiPhoto can securely date a photo and ensure it has not been tampered with since the shot was taken. CertiPhoto hence gives probative value to your photographs by establishing a digital evidence of a visual situation, in a particular place, at a particular time.
Each picture you take with this app is encrypted, geolocated, stored on a secure remote server for at least 3 years and then sent by email to the user along with a certificate. This certificate is an unfalsifiable PDF document, signed and timestamped by a trusted authority, and has legal value in EU countries.
For instance, when you rent something (a house, a car...), whether as a lessor or a lessee, just take certified pictures before and after the rental to get a proof of the condition of the leased items or properties at a specific time.
This application will also be useful if you have a public site notice for a planning permission : you can to prove its presence at a certified time with a A4-size QR-code label to affix on it.
