Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

4 ★Works fine for a quick measurement of light level. Lux or foot candles
5 ★I like it! I don't have anything calibrated to check against but it's still useful. FYI this uses the screen brightness sensor on the front of your phone. If you're pointing the back camera at things to measure brightness, you won't be measuring what you intend to.
5 ★Super easy to read, just make sure you know where your sensor is on the screen to get best readings. Thanks a lot for this useful app!
5 ★Best on here . Hard to find in apps these days. Something simple that just works
5 ★Turns camera reading into a brightness scale, probably not accurate, but good for comparisons, at the best possible price, free
5 ★I have a Samsung s8 and it works for me shows me the lux of the forward faceing camera the chart shows how the lux spikes. My own downside is iwish i could scroll back and see the chart after i take measurements. But I guess screenshots work. 5 star rateing with only 1 small ad loved it. And as a gardener and grower use it daily.
1 ★Didnt work. tried it outside as well as inside. Calibrate didn't help, but the advertising sure did work. I have had light meter apps before, with this phone; so it's not that. I of course will uninstall. Lord knows what it is actually doing.
5 ★Works fine for me although I cannot test the accuracy of readings. App works smoothly.
3 ★You get what you pay for! Passes the "look test". It has a clean, well set up screen and scrolling graph. But why do they use the front camera (selfie) for getting their data. The rear (main) camera could get data by aiming at the source without you in the way. It would also be better if you could adjust the graph timeline and have it output to somewhere. But for a free app it is good.
4 ★Good for determining a rough approximation of how much light your photo sensor is receiving.
4 ★It's tough to know how accurate it is because I have no way to check it, but the numbers agree with my intuitions when I'm checking for high/med/low light levels for my indoor houseplants. It's easy to use, no complaints!
3 ★not sure how accurate it is? my coworker downloaded the same app with the same phone as mine. his was getting totally different readings both sitting side by side. I am a electrician, and own a business that specializes in Led lighting installations. this app could be a great b4 and after tool if it were accurate.
