3 ★Love the concept! Super motivating for my son to compare his points to others in his teacher's studio. Execution of the app is not great though. My husband's app works ok but mine is buggy. Very slow, and kicks you out. They need to do some work on the android version of the app to get it up to speed.
1 ★I would like to love this app but it causes a lot of frustrations for students. It is very buggy. It doesn't pick up practices everyday and chart it accordingly. It always mess it up for my kid. When the students compete of being the top on leaderboards, it just mess up the whole scoreboard. Tonara doesn't help at all. It can't even backtrack to update charts and graph for previous practices since it takes them 2 days to reply. I've given up on this app and we just use it because of teacher.
4 ★This is a great tool for nudging kids to practice all of their daily materials. (The point system is almost too motivating -- my kids have been motivated to cheat.) I would like to see a quick way to switch between multiple accounts, and a parent account for keeping track of which kid has done what.
5 ★I realy love this app. It is the only app which made me practice longer. The stickers are great and also the fact which I can see myself in the leaderboard. The most exciting feature is that it listens to me play and give me feedback on how I played. My teacher is also excited of me practicing. WOW!
2 ★Ever since the update, I haven't been able to open/save/record anything in under 15 minutes as all the app does is load. I haven't had an issue with it before but now if I want to use the app, I have to wait for it to open then wait for the app to let me practice. This takes me the better part of 30 minutes.
1 ★Why must everything always turn into a subscription?? 😣 I've only used this app with a few of my students for over a year now, and STILL don't recommend it to new students. Of those few students, half of them don't even use it regularly. This app is too unreliable and has too many glitches for me to justify subscribing for a monthly fee.
4 ★It is a very good app and helps my children when they practice as they want to be the top of the leaderboard. The reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because the programe sometimes crashes. Otherwise,it is great.
1 ★Got accounts setup by teacher with usernames that have dashes in them. We can't login from iPad because it doesn't take two dashes from the iPad. It works on Android but we can't use this app on a small phone, we need to use it on a tablet for kids to be able to do their assignments. Very, very frustrating!
1 ★It works horribly, it doesn't hear you play your instrument a lot. It works worse for people who have phones with lower quality microphones and electronic pianos. It only registers your practice half the time, so that means if you practised for 6 days, it will tell your teacher that you only practised for three. Lily the help person also always tells you to clear your cache when you have a problem, which never works. No other app requires you to constantly having to clear you cache. 👎
1 ★This is a neat idea and it's been great since stay at home orders began. The recent update now says it's not optimized for my tablet (Samsung) and it crashes almost incessantly. This is extremely frustrating for both me and my child.
1 ★we also had the problem where the app did not hear the instrument. we deleted the app and reinstalled several times. today i installed the app. it opens but freezes on a non interactive screen. i think the version of the app currently on google play is corrupted.
2 ★This app is glitch city. I'm pretty sure my son's music teacher pays for it but there has to be a better paid app. My son likes the points and stickers but I hate having to reload the app every week because it is stuck.
