3 ★Although there were more free episodes per day at the beginning, as I get closer to the end, there are only one or two. There are too many suggested stories just starting on their own. The reader changed after some episode. New voice was annoying. Forced to keep adding coins. The storyline keeps repeating, and the book keeps going when it should just end.
2 ★I love the impressive library, many hidden gems to discover. That said it is ridiculous to have to watch an increasing number of ads, that constantly stop forcing you to waste around 20 minutes (currently 19 ads for 2 chapters) or pay an excessive amount for coins ( $1200 to complete the series I am on now). Need to find a better solution for continuous listening.
3 ★I got hooked on a story thru YouTube. Decided was worth checking out app. Was good to begin with. But watching ads gets old, especially when I can only watch 2 @ a time before it gets stuck. I have figured out a way to reset, but it's annoying to have to do this repeatedly. The amount of coins I can get varies, tho usually @ least 20-30. But do these stories EVER end?! Mine had 900 when I started. It now has 1111! Each "chapter" IS short, but I can't even imagine where this is going! Frustrated.
2 ★I stumbled on Instant Empire on Facebook and started listening. Then I had to download the app. At that time there were at least ten free episodes a day. Now there's only one or two and not to mention they are getting shorter and shorter. I paid for a membership and the free coins would disappear. Even if you watch videos, subscribe to their YouTube, or whatever the coins will disappear. Also, what's the purpose of having the library feature when stories are being added automatically 🤔?
4 ★I have really enjoyed this app. It gives free episodes every day. It has few crashes. I have been sucked into having more than one series going at a time. I gave it 4 stars because there are several hundreds of episodes to complete a series. There is no way I would be willing to purchase that many coins for a series. An improvement I would appreciate is more time before it loads the next series because it isn't always something from your library. It has been a very pleasurable experience!
4 ★I'm really enjoying this app. So far, the only thing I don't like is that there is a limit on the ads you can watch to unlock episodes. Yes, I know we can purchase coins to unlock them, but it's not in everyone's budget to do so. I love binge listening/watching, so I get annoyed when I have to wait until the next day to hear more episodes (especially when I'm invested in the story 🤭). I would've given the app 5 ⭐️ if it weren't for that 🤷🏻♀️
3 ★I enjoy several stories on here & have many in my library. However I don't like that instead of playing the new episodes of different stories in my library once the last free episode of one story it play random stories. Stories that I've had to remove from my library constantly because I have no interest in them. There seems to be no algorithm. I can't even open the app without it playing a repetitive country guitar riff even after closing the app. I have to force stop the app for it to stop.
2 ★A Hot Mess! Initially it starts out giving you 9 free episodes a day. Then just 2. Then it stops completely. I have purchased audiobooks books in before. However you can't purchase these books at one price. You would be paying ridiculous amounts because you pay per episode and new episodes are added daily. It's a scam if you ask me. I'm interested in the one store that I'm listening to. But I will delete this app if and when I ever finish it. You can watch adds to earn coins. But it buffers.
3 ★Ignoring the bog-standard ad overkill, it's not too bad of an app. It's just missing some critical features: * the ability to directly control the play queue * the ability to auto-download new chapters when available (per story) * the ability to precisely control how many chapters will play when you have coins * the ability to search for stories based on more narrow content types * someone to turn some of the stories into TV/Streaming shows (some of them are that good)
2 ★Automatic use of coins is shady af. Not cost effective. Several stories are just variations of the same story. App is glitchy. I appreciate the service but they should be able to provide some reliability and not be so rationing given the amount of advertisements show. Sometimes ads are not so frequent, other times they are constant. Not sure what gives. I don't mind having ads if stories are free, but they should cover costs for those who aren't wealthy.
4 ★I love this app the store are interesting and the voices are nice, one thing thought. Why does it need to go to the next book? And most of the time for me it's a book that is not in my library, I mean I love that it auto continues to the next episodes but I would like the option to choose the next book I listen too. With that being said it a great app but still needs work
4 ★I love the books; however, when listening ads for coins the app cheats you when you watch more than what it call for two episodes. Also, it says that you can earn up to 100 coins a day which is not true. It cuts you off after earning only 39 coins. This is ridiculous! Of course I will still keep listening until I finish my book but, after that I will be uninstalling unless they fix this issue. It's also kind of ridiculous that they only let you listen to two episodes a day.
