Thanks for checking out our fantastic little weather widget application. As a surfer and motorcyclist, I find it really helpful, so I decided to share it with the world. I'd love to hear your feedback.Select from a list of Satellite Images from NOAA for your Android desktop. You create your "playlist" from the list of images from NOAA Satellites including visible, infrared, and water vapor, and it will change the picture on your desktop every 30 minutes automatically, but you can also click to change at any time.
Touch the picture to see it in full screen mode, and pan and zoom just like in your photo gallery.
Best of all, you can share the images with your friends on social media like Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and more. You can even text your pictures to your friends directly.
Great little app/widget for those who watch the weather most: pilots, boaters, fishing, surfing, hiking, motorcycling, and commuters. Easy to use, and nice to have access to the imagery you want without having to surf the web and click-click-click.
Upon installation, the only permission we ask for is access to your external storage (SDCard) to store the satellite images, and Internet access to download the latest imagery.
This is the FREE version, and there's a small banner that shows when you zoom in on a picture, but nothing shows on your desktop. Please click on the banner to help support FREE-ware. There is also a paid version that will remove all advertising. This widget was created as a free software to highlight the development capabilities of my company, Palm Beach Software Design (http://www.PalmBeachSoftware.com).
