Im Rahmen einer Kooperationsvereinbarung mit dem KCD entwickelt die Firma IVU Traffic Technologies AG die eTicket-Analyse-App eTicketinfo2.0.Die Smartphone-App ermöglicht Verkehrsunternehmen und Verbünden elektronische Tickets nach VDV-Kernapplikation zu analysieren. Sie unterstützt das Auslesen von Tickets sowohl als Barcode über einen entsprechenden Scanner als auch auf Chipkarte über die NFC-Schnittstelle. Die Ticketdaten werden auf Basis des VDV-KA-Standards und von EFM-Daten analysiert und in übersichtlicher Form angezeigt.
Zu Analyse von fehlerhaften eTickets werden in der Expertenansicht zudem die Ticketrohdaten angezeigt. Mit dieser Funktion kann die App im Rahmen der Qualitätssicherung bei der Einführung von neuen Tarifprodukten, Verkaufssystemen oder Chipkarten genutzt werden. Die Analyse wird durch eine Suchfunktion erleichtert.
Die eTicket-Analyse-App kann allerdings keine Kontrollgeräte ersetzen. Die räumliche Prüfung von eTickets ist mit der App nicht möglich.
Für Experten stehen verschiedene Export- und Import-Funktionen bereit. Die gesamten Ticketdaten können als JSON-Struktur geteilt und dann weiterverarbeitet oder mit anderen Nutzern ausgetauscht werden. Die Fahrtberechtigungen können zudem als E8-Hexdaten exportiert werden – ein Format das auch die (((eTicket-Testsuite des VDV (((eTicket Service nutzt.
Mit einer vereinfachten Fahrgastansicht bietet die App auch ÖPNV-Nutzern die Möglichkeit sich die Dateninhalte ihres eTickets anzusehen. Die Nutzer sehen so auf einen Blick, wie lange beispielsweise ein Ticket gültig ist und welche Daten hinterlegt sind. Diese Funktion erfüllt die Forderung des Datenschutzes nach Datentransparenz.
