Description
SyncStudio Sync Client is a stand alone application used for synchronization / replication between SQLite databases and Microsoft SQL Server databases. This application is the device side of our complete database synchronization solution called SyncStudio.SyncStudio is a patent pending software suite/IDE that solves the until now tedious, time consuming and expensive task of implementing database replication / synchronization between mobile devices using SQLite and Servers running Microsoft SQL.
SyncStudio completely automates the process of configuring and publishing a Microsoft SQL server side database for synchronization / replication. It automatically generates and compiles the custom sync code unique to each database (based on user selected tables and fields) and then deploys the sync service to your IIS Web Server.
On the mobile device, users have the choice of using our universal SyncStudio Sync Client or using our sync API (Java .JAR) to build synchronization into their existing apps. The SyncStudio Sync Client can be used stand alone in either a test or production environment. Source code for the SyncStudio Sync Client is available with the installation of SyncStudio. SyncStudio Sync Client makes use of our sync API to provide the fully functional sync technology needed to connect with the server and synchronize not only the data but also the database schema.
Please note that the SyncStudio Sync Client is only works when you also have SyncStudio installed on the server side. Using our Sync Client with SyncStudio totally eliminates the need for any custom coding on either the server or the client to implement database synchronization.
