2 ★I've played this game for some time and it has been one of my favorites - but recently the ads have gotten out of control, a full 30 second ad after each hand is ridiculous and completely takes the joy out of the play. Unless it gets addressed very soon I'll be uninstalling. I think greed has gotten the best of you for a very basic game.
1 ★The STUPID STUPID ads!!! Not only are they long compared to other apps, there's no button to exit the ad within the first 5 seconds like other ads. Can you guys really be so greedy that you aggravate customers??? Plus - and this is a big one for me - the ads for Gardenscapes that I see almost every time - is ALL ABOUT A WOMAN WITH HELPLESS BABIES GETTING KICKED OUT OF THEIR HOME, SHE IS OBVIOUSLY A BATTERED WOMAN, THERE'S NO FOOD, THEY ARE HOMELESS DURING HORRIBLE WEATHER! It's triggering!
5 ★Fun and Challenging!! You definitely don't win every game, which makes you want to keep playing! Very addicting. I love hard challenges that make you work on strategies.
4 ★AI can't really follow gameplay and takes way too many bags. Decent game overal. (Edit) a year later I still enjoy and added one more star for a Four overall. I learned to overbid on most hands. I win 90% or more of games played. Almost too easy
4 ★Best spades app for me. Most ads are fairly short. The most annoying thing is when my computer partner makes stupid moves, but that also is not too frequent. I would like my suits to be alternating in color so it would be a bit easier to tell apart.
5 ★I like this game better than any other Spades game I have played. It plays fast. I would like to choke my pattner some times.....just like real life. He does not bid well. My partner trumps my King with his Ace and then lead back with a ten(stupid move), which he lost. We could have gotten both tricks if he had let me take the one with my queen & not over trumped his parner. We are supposed to play as partners do.
4 ★Simple to use, but unfortunately all offline. Also adds are abundant, so I always turn off wifi/data to play with music on the train and have no interruption
4 ★Game works pretty well. Ads are reasonable. Code does not cover throwing away winning tricks after we have already made bid. This causes reaching 10 bags too often. Overall this is an above average app.
1 ★Kept prompting me to review in the app and when I hit 1 star, it wouldn't let me lol. Lame. Don't beg for reviews if you don't want them to be honest. Great game overall but the full screen minutes long ads after each hand is egregious. I'm perfectly okay with ads, but not after every single hand. I don't understand why apps have the most intrusively loud ads imaginable. The ads literally cut off anything I'm listening to. If there was a paid version I'd get that but there isn't one. So, 1 star.
1 ★You will quit this game in disgust, your partner-bot driving you away. It's nowhere close to real. It's unreliable, erratic and out of control. Takes every trick it can, rarely strategically. Frequently 3 tricks over bid so you s'bag 10 often or it underbids and you lose rounds that way. Either way, you lose. Also, it cuts you to your team's disadvantage. You lose again. I won 94% of my games but don't feel good. I'm off to find a version that's realistic and fun.
3 ★"partner" constantly cuts you. I thought maybe the computer had to "learn" the play but I don't cut my partner (unless I have no other option of course) but I threw out a 10♠️ and my partner (who was last to go) trumped me with the jack just to turn around and lead with the 8♠️. So it's not like it didn't have a card lower than my 10 to play. If that was 4 humans playing and my partner did that, they wouldn't be my partner next time. Please fix this cuz it happens ALL THE TIME.
5 ★Too many ads!!!!!! WTH??? Still a great way to have fun passing time. Biggest plus is you DON'T have to spend money to play. My favorite app to play.
