1 ★This is the 2nd app from A-STAR that I've tried & had many issues every time I played, freezing during a game causing me to loose ratings, booted me off for inactivity when it had been other player turn to play also resulted in loosing the game & coins, everything about the app is a big headache & disappointment, aggravation is more then to deal with. I contacted the Developer several times about the problems & getting little help response in return. Take my advice or don't it's your choice.
1 ★whoever scores the game should be more even with scoring the red team which is the opposite team usually gets the best hand more often but more importantly the opposite team is not penalized as much for scoring one or two points over the bid. it needs to be more fair. I happen to really like spades and I don't mind losing when I know the game was fair. As I stated before I like spades but I watch the game closely there are times when you win a book and the points are not given to you. WOW
2 ★Only game I know that when it says hard mode it means that the strategy doesnt change...they still play like beginners...it means that you consistently get terrible hands to play with and makes it "hard" to win. Rarely...and I do mean rarely will you get dealt a hand where you can bid 5 or more. Terrible game...too predictable. 2.5 stars at best.
1 ★Worst spades game EVER! Terrible AI (juat program AI to win every trick they can regardless of bid), complete morons in multi-player, nils dealt nearly EVERY hand! Coding is awful, too. It often doesn't give you the pts after a win and other times, it gets hung up trying to load video between hands until you get timed out and forced a loss! My 3rd grader could build a better app! Stay away! These offshore hacks clearly don't have a clue about coding or Spades!
1 ★If your game is set to run by an algorithm, how does an algorithm set to make sure you lose 15-20x in a row? That is unacceptable! I have been playing spades for 20+ years, out of 20 games you will at least luckily win ONE!!! A week ago I was above the 2500 rating, now I am below 2300. That's a 200 point difference with each losing/game with max win/lose points at 10 each. Do the math! That's some straight up BS!!!
1 ★Have played many thousand games and it seems like the developers have stopped working on this app. The ads have also gotten more obnoxious in an effort to gain clicks. I just got booted out of a rated game because the ad timer was too long before it allowed me to proceed past the ad (there is an X at the top after some time). Going to have to start looking for another app, I'm afraid.
5 ★I love to play spades; it is my favorite card game by far. "Spades +" is a fantastic app. You can change names and avatars of yourself and the other 3 players(ai), you can change the colors and styles of the card backs and fronts, you can regulate the speed of play, and several other things as well. There are many choices. "Spades +" also breaks down each hand of play in fascinating detail, as well as the ongoing statistics, such as win/loss percentages and average bids and bags. So much fun!🙋
2 ★I constantly get booted from the game because of connection with multi-player network especially when I am winning. It always happens when it is the player's to my left turn. That is so frustrating. Additionally, I always lose points. I believe the system is rigged. I play the game all the time and this has been happening about 2-3 of 5 games. I want to get to the bottom of this. Don't know if the system is overloaded or if there is a bug in it.
5 ★I'm not tech-savvy nor am I picky with games. I found this game to be easily used and it's a delightful perk to be able to change the characteristics of the computer opponents and colors of the card backs! So far I've experienced no glitches. I like that the ads don't pop up until a hand is completed in its entirety! Great game :)
5 ★Great game. Love to play it all the time. My computer partner is a bit dum. Plays random and sometimes for the other side. Oh well can't have perfection. Overall entertaining. I do recommend the game. I read your response. I play at the highest level. The AI is still DUMB. Prefer if he played by the best logical solution. Let me make the probable mistake. This way I can improve my skills set instead of getting frustrated by the AI's unlogical stupid decisions. I named my AI dumbass.
5 ★Love playing single player! Of course there are ads any free games so that is to be expected but you can usually close out of them very quickly and I enjoy just the basic game play as one player and not having to be online. Downloaded another Spades game by a different company and deleted it because it just had way too much going on. I like this simple straightforward version.
2 ★Fun game except for a few major flaws. First and most important is the amount of memory space this app uses?! Almost every game/app uses a few 100MB, biggest one I have is 600MB (until cache deleted), but this game is currently using 1.6GB of my limited space!! Why is so much needed/used?? Other issue is how MANY times the AI will purposely throw a card because it knows miraculously that it's partner has the winning card. And AI will lead with spades immediately after they broke spades/hand.
