1 ★Been playing this game FOREVER and loved it but for the last 6 months almost every single game has an ad with an all black screen that doesn't allow you to exit out and get back to the game!! You get booted and lose points through no fault of your own. 3 games played today and all 3 gave me the black screen and booted me! This has completely ruined what was once a great game.
1 ★So rife with ads it is unplayable. Too bad because it the best hearts game. But it displays an ad after each hand that takes over 30 seconds before you can close it. Makes the game not worth playing. DEVELOPER: You made a bad choice here. Before, I'd play it and you'd get revenue. Now you're not going to get ANY from me and I'll be sure to tell others to stay away from your games.
1 ★Game is rigged, AI goes out of its way to make sure you get the queen of spades, it goes as far as to hold it to the end when it could have many times over given it to another AI player but holds it to try and give it to you. AI also shoots the moon way too often because instead of playing for their own best interest they play to make sure you lose. Multiplayer deals one person bad cards over and over until they loose.
1 ★The game is mostly fine but the ads are ridiculous. Not only are they between every hand, but they are set up in a way that try to trick you into clicking. And to a point of a previous comment, some of the ads ask if you want to undress some girl. Obviously the ad revenue was more important than listening to the previous comment. I'm uninstalling solely because of how many predatory ads there are, too bad because I enjoy the game play itself.
1 ★The worst thing is the adds between games. they will force you to click a fake X then keep you locked on the add page while your card game is still going so the rest of the players vote to kick you mid game bc the add took too long. This app would be amazing minus the in your face adds with click bait X options. The adds make it very unfriendly to users
1 ★Trash app. There are ads between every single round in multiplayer that are squirrely and hard to exit out of, the orientation is forced landscape which is awkward, the deals are far from realistic, and the only option is 50 point games which, in an app where everyone is trying to shoot the moon, usually means games that take less than 4 rounds.
2 ★Stop responding to reviews that are critical about the ads with 'please send a screenshot...'. it's obviously an issue. This was my favorite game to relax to until a few months ago when the ads became intolerable both in frequency and difficulty to get past. At this point I've removed all MobilityWare games despite them having what I feel to be the best interfaces for card games. I'm not against ad driven revenue, but what you've implemented is just not worth the hassle.
2 ★As commenter (Bruce D- October 25) noted, the AI version DEFINITELY cheats. It reneges at times AND it will play the queen to take a trick when it has other options than to take the 13 points - even when obviously not trying to shoot the moon. I've had this game for a long time and have noticed this trend before from time to time, but today IT DID IT TWICE! I am very disappointed, as it is one of my favorite games, but I will not be able to continue to play it if it's going to continue to cheat.
2 ★Biggest frustration are the ads. After each hand you have an ad. After the game is completely over, before you can even get to the main menu, you guessed it, another ad. The cost for ad free is $19.99. That is absolutely absurd. Otherwise game is fun and challenging overall.
2 ★Horrible AI. Will hold Q for you, no matter the score, and then the AI will eat it instead of play it to another AI. This won't hurt you, as you can outsmart the AI easy, but it makes for a stupid game of hearts. Also, pretty much count on getting the worst hands every single hold hand. There is no random card game here, it's a total set up. Plus side, 1 ad between each hand, and they are not the annoying kind!
2 ★One major flaw with this app is that it gives you more points for winning/losing against higher scored/lower scored opponents and vice versa. Playing against lower scored opponents is only easier if you have very good luck & deals, which isn't often the case here considering the app's random dealing seems to favor lower scored players. Otherwise, playing against lower rated opponents is actually harder because they don't understand how to play offensively or play for first. Please fix this!
2 ★Used to like it, but have had to reset 10 times in a row now because I keep getting the worst imagineable hands possible. The concept of difficulty is to make sure that every hand you get puts you at a severe disadvantage qgainst the computer. Also 1 comp will take all the points while another gets perfect hands and cannot receive any. Ive lost games where i had 7 points, but 1 bot had 0, and a third broke 122.
