3 ★This was a great game before these big changes. Not sure why there was so many poor changes to something that was really good. Hard to play it knowing how good it was compared to it's current design. Most of these changes could have been applied to new classes, leaving the previous builds alone. The skills are frustrating and several are not even usable. Wish there was a way to go back to the pre-updated version.
4 ★This game is a good time waster in the roguelite deckbuilder genre. The mechanics are simple and it's easy to drop in and out of, as any good mobile game is. The only issues holding this game back is that the art and animations don't always convey what's happening well, and the simplifications made for the mobile platform also mean there isn't much incentive to discover unique strategies. Overall a lot of fun, just lacking some polish to push it into "great" territory.
5 ★I notice with a lot of mobile games that you spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game. This game is very fun and requires sound strategy against the harder bosses and difficulty settings. You have the opportunity to gain an extra treasure after a battle but the playtime of the battle far exceeds the playtime of the ad. It's a good game and I highly recommend getting it if you're a fan of cards and strategy!
5 ★Update...I paid to remove ads and for several days it was good. I'm playing Inferno 8 through all the classes and today the ads are back. Not cool considering how much I paid to remove them. The game is fun but the ad issue is a disappointment. Second edit..money was refunded to my account. Honestly I would rather have the add removal than the refund but the issue was resolved. It's still a very fun game!
5 ★I first gave this app 5 stars at the end of 2019. I still think it deserved it. Since then, the developers have continuously updated the game so that it is better than ever. I actually stopped playing for awhile, but came back because I bought STS on PC and it wasn't as fun to me. I was surprised that the game had been overhauled. I'm loving the new changes and the new Warden class.
5 ★This is a genuine gem on the play store. While not perfect, the developer's dedication and love for it shines through, and I've found myself sinking hundreds of hours into it over the years. Every time I take a break and return I get to come back to substantial updates and improvements, which is a treat. I've even paid money for things like permanent ad remove, which is a rarity for me, and I've never regretted it.
5 ★Overall a great game. I have beaten every mode up to inferno 3 atleast with every character. Each of them has a sick playability once you unlock the correct passives. The knight, Barb and Necro are my favorite in terms of absolutely crushing a mode. I also love the zero commercials and zero pay wall items. I can't wait for the endless mode to drop!
2 ★Tldr: Bring back the old Necromancer. They ruined the fun of the Necromancer. I loved this game, but its starting to feel like they're falling into the whole "nerf what was good so more people will play the new characters" which is a common problem in many games. The fact that at least the characters are free makes it hurt a little less when you have to give up on your favorite characters/builds.
4 ★I'll give it a 4 star. It's a pretty great game. There could be a bit more to it. It's hard to get anywhere right off the bat you will die before the end of the third map. Still playing to learn more. Will update review later after I play more. Not very much to complain about except I want more in the game. Let us buy permanent cards to build a deck for a run through. Thanks
5 ★Deck building game. Simple but quite fun. A lot of challenges in each run. Every run is different. Offline supported. I think this is one of the top mobile games on the market. The price is reasonable without mtx bullscrap. Ads doesn't work, so I can't unlock chest, sadly. It may increase difficulty due to lack of chest opening.
5 ★This game is AMAZING! A lot of people are comparing it to Slay the Spire, but it's got waaay more than Slay the Spire, and I have dozens of hours in that game. I like that there are different difficulties. I actually have more wins than losses in the 7 or so runs I've done so far. 4 of them have been with the warrior, and I have 0 loses with that class. Purchased the highest pack to support, and get rid of ads. Great work!
3 ★After beating the game a few times I realize there isn't a point unlocking other classes. Warrior is by far the best as you keep str and it's the first one you get with the most health. Just keep stacking str and games easy. I wish the skills of other classes actually made sense or were more viable to their class. Great game but it feels bad seeing how busted str builds are. The curse that removes your max health is brutal and should be reworked but besides that it's a pretty good time waster.
