Description

With the NVIDIA VR Viewer App, you can enjoy 360 stereo panoramic images on your smartphone based on two exciting NVIDIA technologies:

NVIDIA Ansel® technology is a revolutionary new way to capture in-game screenshots. Compose your shots from any position, adjust with post-process filters, capture HDR images in high fidelity formats on your PC, and share your screenshots in 360 for playback on your smartphone.

NVIDIA® Iray® VR technology taps into the power of NVIDIA GPUs to let users quickly generate immersive VR experiences of their 3D designs with amazing accuracy. Iray uses ray tracing to deliver a precise feel of the finished product, allowing architects and designers to immerse themselves in photo-realistic 3D models of buildings, cars, and other designs prior to any physical prototype being built.

The NVIDIA VR Viewer App provides users a sneak-peak of the images that users will be able to capture and view using these upcoming technologies.

Notes:
-- You must install the Google Cardboard App from the Google Play Store to view 360 images with Cardboard.
-- The "trigger" on your Cardboard device will advance you through different environments.
-- Pressing “trigger” twice will take you to the previous panoramic image.
-- We recommend turning off Auto Brightness if brightness adjustments are impacting your viewing experience.
-- Viewer currently supports JPG and PNG images generated by NVIDIA Ansel and IRAY. Images need to be of square dimension (1:1) for stereo and 2:1 for mono with max resolution restricted to 4K * 4K.

System Requirements:

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★How can I get more image samples?? Someone please help..
5 ★Neat.
5 ★I have been using this exclusively to show off stereo 360 images I capture in UE4.13 and now adding Google Photos makes it even better. Suggestions: A repository of "fan favorites" and an option to turn off screen overlays for the calibration line and configuration gear, only to be present when the back arrow is pressed. My NEODiVR uPLAy is so immersive these overlays detract from the experience.
3 ★I was able to change the DPI to a lower number in the settings and that fixed it however the app is still awful. Sorry.
2 ★Kind of lame and if it's supposed to be cool my only smart device is a shield k1 tablet which needs a vr viewer.
4 ★Next time please, do separation between the cameras more and more! Because it's almost flat...
1 ★Why do you lie. They are not 3D stereo images. I expected way better from you Nvidia.
2 ★Screen regularly goes blank after two seconds
2 ★Not that special
5 ★The ansel section pictures are not 3D. They are 2D 360 images. A great app nonetheless. And maybe I've been spoiled by really awesome 3D on the gearVR and the 3D effect is just small here so I don't notice it, but it really doesn't look 3D to me. Also the images in the other section need IPD adjustment options. It puts strain on my eyes to look at them.
5 ★Very user friendly interface. Beautiful flawless graphics and amazing quality. I wouldn't recommend this as a main headset VR, but considering you can use this on your phone anywhere it is unbeatable. Can't wait for more sample pictures!! I can spend my whole day exploring like this!!! I personally wish that there is an option to download more 360 pictures in a future update. Highly recommend.
5 ★So cool. My Google cardboard lenses weren't good enough and broke the immersion a bit so I just ordered Samsung's VR off Amazon. Now to wait a few more days...
