4 ★The app is quite good but I don't undrrstand why so many of the comic strips started at their beginning. Granted half of the strips I read are old and no longer published. But I wouldn't have thought that Red and Rover, Pickles, 9 Chitwood Lane should have started at the begining. Is there a way to fix this.
4 ★I will confess to being a webcomic addict. I used to use the Gocomics app to manage most of them, until it flipped out and got shut down. I found PageFlip shortly thereafter, and it's much better than Gocomics ever was. Out of 10 webcomics I follow, I found all but the 2 most obscure on here, plus all the newspaper comics I like (Calvin & Hobbes Forever!). My only criticism is that links will sometimes get diverted to other comics randomly. Sometimes you can fix it yourself, but not always.
5 ★It's bare bones, REALLY simple to use, and has a reasonable, though not vast, selection of comics. (adding this months later: many more than when I first wrote this... and I still love it) NO annoying ads and no badgering for the premium edition since there isn't one. Nice, I love it.
2 ★This app is okay (not great) but here's what really brings it down: 1. You can't view anything offline, in fact you can't use the app at all without an internet connection. 2. You can't search by date. 3. Only one comic strip shows up on screen at a time, that's not effective use of space.
1 ★It does what it should but one issue is the ad that is under the comic. It takes up too much space that I can't see the strip. Please make the ad smaller or fix the layout so I can see an entire strip in landscape mode.
5 ★Lots of fun & funny comics.
5 ★I was using a s*itt y app for a WHOLE year to read comics that weren't light novels and wannabe "godofhighschool". This app has all my favorites, is easy to use and super not annoying. Now that I have everything in one place I'm gonna get back into so many comics I lost touch with. Will definitely donate a bit next paycheck.
4 ★Nice comics viewer. Only wish if the app prompted for confirmation on clicking the navigate to first and last buttons since they are so close to next and previous buttons. High chance of accidental misclicks which can derail the navigation flow.
5 ★It's probably a bit unfair to the sites the comics are hosted on, but their sites are terrible, especially on mobile. This app is the only way to actually read comics digitally without endless frustration.
5 ★Easy to use and lots of features. I especially appreciate the history feature that allows me to go back to a particular comic strip later on. And it includes Calvin & Hobbes!!!
4 ★I use this app daily. Huge list of available comics! When reading a comic's past history it is too easy to press the wrong key. Instead of coming one day forward you jump to today's comic. Then, the BACK button fails. Otherwise perfect simple uncluttered app.
4 ★With the latest update, swiping up quickly takes me to the previous day instead of the next comic in the list. I have to do a sweeping swipe up to go to the next comic, now. I also don't like the addition of ads, there's not even a way to pay for an ad-free version of the app.
