1 ★This software is almost unusable. I am forced to use it because my children s school has bought into the system. Trying to book multiple events for.multople children over multiple days just doesn't work. It gets events mixed up, and is generally very confusing. I am a software developer with 20 years commercial experience.. I would disown this software if I wrote it.
1 ★Doesn't work properly on my S10. Push notifications don't work since I upgraded my phone, which means I have no idea when school are sending me a message. I've missed several important messages as a result. I've tried to contact the support email but no one replies. Unfortunately, it's not as if I can uninstall and use a different service as this is the one school subscribe to, so I'm stuck with it and having to try to remember to regularly check to make sure there are no new messages.
4 ★This is a great app for keeping up with my child's school related info, however, it often crashes. When I get an alert that there's a new achievement or a new message, I tap it and it launches the programme, however, it does nothing for a few seconds and then closes itself. If I open the app without tapping the alert, it works fine.
2 ★I have tried to sign in as a new user (I used to have no problems interacting with my child's school until now, as they have just added "school gateway" as their primary method of contact). Waiting for my PIN to be texted for over a half hour now. Will call my child's school tomorrow and speak to them. Previous method was much better.
5 ★This is a fantastic way for me to keep track of my son's achievements in school, pay for his trips, even to check his timetables to make sure he has everything he needs for the day. Really pleased with the app. I can honestly say I wish more schools would open up to using services like this, parent pay and the show my homework app.
1 ★the payment part of this app is fine, though being able to pay smaller amounts would be good. but i don't get notifications at all, i have all notification permusions on, i have told school who's only response was "it must be another app you have interfering" so i turned all other notification permissions off and still don't get notifications. i can not ve checking for messages every ten minutes just in case
1 ★I can't see or make payments for my son's lunch, trips and other school essentials. Nothing is showing on his Gateway account. I have contacted the school and they said i should contact the school Gateway team as they have done everything on their side. Please could you sort this out. Thank you.
1 ★It's absolutely appalling. It doesn't send you notifications at all and you have to check it several times a day for new messages from the school. Yes I have notifications set up for the app on my phone and I've also tried uninstalling/reinstalling it and it still doesn't work. I've missed several important notifications from the school in the last month which has caused great stress and upset.
1 ★Totally frustrating ... I get messages from the school I can see money I've paid and dinners had. I can't add payments only have a message that says only available where the school has online reporting. Checked with the school they said everything is ok at their end. So I've uninstalled and added again, checked my email is correct, changed my pin and still not able to use the app. Pointless
4 ★Great app. Really useful features and really easy to use. Only issue I've had obviously got introduced at some point in the past during an app update. I've always run the app inside Samsung Secure Folder and it's always worked. I recently change my phone and now the app won't work inside the Secure Folder container. But it works fine if run outside the container. Please fix this and you'll get 5*'s.
3 ★It's ok, but the lack of low balance alerts (which everyone seems to ask for) is very frustrating as it results in children missing meals. We have to use the app, but given a choice I would find something else which doesn't lack such basic functionality.
2 ★This is not a great app to be honest. We have had to move to this app as the School had changed their notification service to SG. The app is painfully slow and crashes at times. It Doesn't feel like a professional service, more like a glorified school IT project. Currently using on a Huawei P20 Pro on a 300mb connection. All the parents ive discussed this with absolutely abhor this app. It needs a major upgrade to be up to the standard required.
