The official companion app for Shot Scope GPS devices, including X5, H4, G5 and V3, is available to download on Android devices.The app comprises features designed to help you get the most from your Shot Scope device. Connect to your Shot Scope device and update courses prior to playing to ensure you benefit from up-to-date course mapping. Any firmware updates will also be available via the app.
Simply download the app, register/login, connect your device and begin.
For Performance Tracking devices only: After playing golf, connect to your Shot Scope watch and upload your round to view performance data. Analyse over 100 statistics on your game, including Strokes Gained analytics, club distances, hole overviews and more. Use these statistics to learn and understand your game, to structure practice sessions or inform decision making on the course.
Compete within the Shot Scope community on the interactive course hub, and see where you rank on leaderboards for every aspect of your game.

Download Shot Scope APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

5 ★Bought a used V2. Just played my first round with it. It is amazing. I've heard that sometimes it makes mistakes. But after 9 holes. Not one error & it was my first time using it.
5 ★***For folks with Android connection issues*** I had connection issues like many others (Galaxy S9 and V3) and they are fixed. It wasn't the app's fault as I had some location settings wrong in my phone that wouldn't let it connect (for the first time). For Android, go to settings, then location. I turned on location. Then just underneath click "Improve Accuracy". Turn on "Bluetooth Scanning". After that, I did a fresh install of the app, turned on Bluetooth and the watch and it paired in the app no problem. So far, so good. Now let's see how the rest works.... I am excited to get it out on the course.
4 ★This is an update to a review I wrote earlier. The V3 watch itself is a piece of cake to use on the golf course. I ran into issues when I was trying to download the data into my app. It took me about 90 minutes culling through the website faq's page until I found the necessary info to make the download. Once I was able to find that info everything worked quickly. The data collection is very good and any edits you need to make are very easy to do. I would recommend this to any serious golfer
2 ★Bad experience so far! I played my second round of golf with this app today. I was so excited to see the distances of my drives. At first it wouldn't let me sync with my Android phone. When it finally completed my sync, there was no data added to the app! Very frustrating! When I sent a message I was told my response would be a week! My husband is using the same app and it is working fine. (V3)
4 ★I really enjoy the shot scope system. The watch works well and gives accurate gps yardages. It picks up shots very well, some editing may be required at the end of the round but overall it does a pretty good job of picking up each swing. the app works well and displays the statistics better than the desktop app. the putting stats are one of the best features of this system. Recommendation, they should add a trend chart of the stats, and strokes gained calculations like gamegolf or arccos.
1 ★Was good until recent upgrade. Now can't connect V2 watch to phone so shot tracking capability is zero. Technical support have been unable to help. I get asked the same questions repeatedly without any progress. It's just a glorified GPS rangefinder now. My phone can do that. I only got the watch in 2018 and I expected it to be usable for more a lot more than 2 years. I wouldn't be buying a V3 if this is what will happen
3 ★The watch, GPS, and maps are fine but the post game editing of the game is very difficult on an advanced Android smartphone. for example, to edit at all, i had to delete every shot at the hole and add each one back in manually. Even then, i couldn't position the tee shot where it landed ?! So, editing just one hole took 1 1/2 hours before i gave up ! Here's my latest feedback on editing for other users, start editing putts and work back from there.
5 ★Awsome bit of kit ,game improvement first round with gps watch and club disc's, data collection of round amazing ..well worth the spend
3 ★The ShotScope product and statistics provided are awesome, but the android app has quite some issues. Fortunately, all of the syncing and bluetooth behavior with the app – while pretty basic in terms of UI – works very reliably which is awesome. The problem comes with the statistics. Randomly and without understandable pattern (that I can tell) certain statistics screens in the app will become unavailable saying an error occurred and the developer has been notified of the issue. This seems like it happens after new rounds, but sometimes I will be able to view a screen then navigate around and try to go back and it's broken again. A broken screen tends to never be repaired until you upload a new round either. That being said you can go to the website dashboard to view your stats just fine. Unfortunately not all the same statistics are presented on the web as in the app – the web can't show you side by side stroke averages between rough/sand/fairway per club for example while the app makes this easy.
2 ★Bought the watch for father's day in 2018. Initially over the moon as it give you loads of information easy to use and easy to track your rounds. Only thing was found it a little big on my wrist but didn't put me off. Fast forward to 2020 and after lock down. The app looks to have been updated or something and I can no longer sync my rounds. No help from customer support. So in essence I have paid a lot of money for a watch that tells me yardage and can do nothing else with it. Very poor definitely regret the purchase which obviously wasn't cheap. And will definitely not be looking at the V3 which I did consider upgrading due to slightly smaller fitting watch. Massively disappointed
5 ★1 year with the Shotscope V2 & App, Is it worth the money... Yes! I purchased my unit on the 18/06/2018 and have yet, to this date, been able find an issue with the watch. The watch itself has a bulky look to it but the design is featherweight, so dont be deterred. The tracking actions of the tags are perfect and the GPS distances are within +/- 1 yard of range finders. The desktop/mobile app are fantastic for breaking down your post round results and turning your game inside out. 5* all day!!!!
1 ★Not impressed. Cant run desktop on Chromebook. The Android app looks completely different on my Galaxy S8 from any of your graphics. All the courses that I loaded come up with an error msg on the watch as soon as I try and access them err_load_course (I think was the msg) . There seems no way to delete a course and try and re load.. FAQs and Help pages....not very helpful. I feel like Ive been sold a pup.....but maybe all these other complaints about a forced upgrade on to a buggy version is the problem and you will resolve. At present a completely useless purchase. correction...the error msg was on the watch was err_load_map
