Thousands of years ago, the ancients destroyed civilization with five schools of magic. Each spell comes at a terrible price. Glamor charms your adversaries, rotting your body from the inside. Divination reveals faraway secrets, exposing your own secrets to others. Automation gives objects the spark of life, destabilizing the climate. Vivomancy can heal or change living things, with bizarre side effects. Blast your enemies with Negation energy, forming permanent clouds of deadly fallout.
As a young scrounger of antiquities, you hope to build your ruined world anew with these rediscovered spells. Now you must decide which of these magics can transform your post-apocalyptic society, and what you'll risk to bring hope and light to your kinsmen.

2 ★As much as I love the author and as much as I love Choice of Games and Hosted Games, I simply found this one to be... Disapointing. The characters and story as well as gameplay are all top tear and had this game been properly finished I believe it could have been one of CoG's best yet! But the game itself is wracked with bugs, continuity errors, and typos and is left with many characters, plot lines, and character and story archs being left unfinished. All in all, while this certainly had the capacity for greatness at its current high price it simply isn't worth buying, it needs to either have the price cut in half or to be rereleased.
5 ★it's a really fun game and worth the price for the full story, but in the future (and for other titles too) i hope you can add a feature to quicksave or at least have an autosave for each chapter. having to replay the whole story just because we make 1 wrong choice is tiresome. otherwise, great game and i love this author's work!

5 ★Loved it, HATE that you have to pay though.... I'm really loyal to the creators of this game (shout out to choice of the dragon fans though!) Like spam me with adds but please don't make me pay for the chapters! *sigh* Really good other than the paying for the rest of the chapters. Love the magic and the storyline is introduced with a subtle air that makes it fun and flowing, please..... at rid of the cost...... love what I got but it's only a fraction of a fraction of the story..... wish there was a back button in case you make a wrong choice! Thanks for the glimpse of the amazing story, ima go find a video to see what happens, love your apps and while I'm here, DRAGONS CHOICE SEQUAL PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ thank you!
5 ★Well written, and beautifully thought out. Choices matter and it offered a different perspective to magic-based stories. The negative effects to your powers were interesting. Story is engaging and the ending was very satisfying and diverse across multiple playthroughs. Deffinitely worth the money.
5 ★The humor is great, though sometimes it can be a little jarring in what is basically a post-apocalyptic world. But maybe that makes it even better? Bit surprised at people complaining about the price. You get a novel for seven dollars (sometimes more)--why not this? Authors gotta eat too, and it can take a few years to finish these works of art.
3 ★As much as this is amazing, and it is, $11 is just too much for what it is. The story and writing in the sample is just superb and I really am tempted to buy the rest but I just can't. I've bought a lot of CoG books for 4 or 5 dollars some good some bad, but they have always been worth the money. But $11 is a lot of money for a mobile app, no matter how good it is.
2 ★From what i played its great. But you have to pay money to get far into it. Just another greedy developer who wants money for something liie this. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to make these sort of things but i dont think that should make them cost money to get past a certain point. Maybe instead you could make players wait some time inbetween chapters unless they buy a subscription but even then the subscription would be overpriced because humans are way to greedy
5 ★Just an amazing story from start to finish, great character's, wonderful themes, wonderful choices...it's amazing. Worth every cent
4 ★$7 is wayyy too much to pay, maybe $2? Otherwise good. I realize that this takes a lot of work to make, but even a periodic sale would be helpful- I really don't have a lot of spare money. It seems like you could keep inching your older games closer to being free, and probably gain more sales in the long run that way.
4 ★I really liked it but everytime I close it and come back it doesn't save and puts me back in the beginning which sucks as I loved the first chapter please fix the bug
5 ★The most grand and ambitious story I've played through. Beautifully written and deeply complex, with a huge number of possible story branches. After six playthroughs, I still have plenty I haven't uncovered. The absolute best stats screen of any Choice of Game so far.
