Description

Magwa, the most prestigious scholar of arcane antiquities, has spent his life traveling the Vast Kingdom in search of powerful and fascinating magic items. He has explored the darkest dungeons and braved the dens of dragons to bring you a magic item collection like you've never seen. He has finally published a portion of his discoveries in this mobile application for you to use in your next RPG adventure.

His work includes over 30 free hand-drawn sketches and the option to buy many more. It even includes the ability to randomly generate items, create your own, and save them for later use. Magic, right?

While the compendium is simple to use, it is more than just a random magic item generator. As a dungeon master, you will have the power to generate thousands of random magic items with a single tap. You will also be able to create your own custom magic items or adapt random magic items to fit your game setting. Once you find an item you love, the magic item compendium lets you save it to your phone so you can pull it up quickly the next time you play. To top it all off, the compendium includes a handful of wondrous items that are ready for you to reference and use in your game.

The app is compatible with 5e materials and even pulls some of your favorite magic items straight from the D&D Systems Reference Document (SRD) via the Open Gaming License.

3 ★Ok, I love this app, it's very useful and fun, but I just opened it up and all of my custom items that I had made and saved had been deleted. This was the only place I had them so it really sucks. I don't know why it deleted them, but save your items somewhere else as well, just in case.

2 ★Loved the app for months, it was very useful when I needed a homebrew item on the fly. The UI for making your own items was so easy to use I could put together and log homebrew items I put together quickly. I must've had 3 campaigns worth of magic items for my players. Then the app updated, and I lost them all. :(

5 ★Great an easy way to generate items an share them easly!! Love this app an i look forward to using for alot of my campaigns!

2 ★Fairly meh. The items themselves are boring and unoriginal. It seems like half of the magical effects simply just add damage die, or maximize the rolls on damage die, making for one dimensional, repetitive items. The actual layout of the app is quite well done, but many of the items must be bought.

4 ★Sweet App! As a DM who likes to add plenty of trippy magical items this os a great start... However I think that the app is lacking in personal content in that one is only limited to the drawings provided... If at all possible I would like to see some east asian inspired weapons and equipment. Also I would like to see more curved blade swords as I feel those types of sword are under represented

4 ★This is actually a really cool app, I just wish it was updated more often. The number of item images is pretty limited, even after buying several of the expansions. There are other apps that let you do the same thing but you can just import pictures to it.

4 ★I love this app. the ability to create a magic item on the fly is awesome. I don't mind paying for new art. More art is needed. There is so much they don't have. I recommend this to DMs.

5 ★Great app! Wonderfully easy to use, seeing as I am currently a homebrew DM spread across 4 campaigns and constant One-Shots. Requires little to no effort. I would (and do) definitely recommend this. (Would love to see a symbol/drawing to use that looks like a katana!)

4 ★very neat app. great way to get items, weapons etc. or starter ideas. In the future I'd love to see 2 things from this app. 1) a way to export items you've made by more than 1 at a time 2) adding class selection to item generation.

3 ★Awesome app, amazing artwork, but can you make it compatible with Lions Den Apps Fight Club 5 & Game Master 5? also various forms and formats for exporting would also help. Also the dicerolls base damage etc. I also would like to know if there is anymore artwork for items? having purchased some of the dlc was making me expectant of further artistic fun, so that I could use the items with my Character Sheets for my Players.

5 ★Simple to use, comprehensive, reasonable price. If you make magic items for DnD or any other fantasy role-playing game, I highly recommend this app. If you play those games and don't make items, this app is a good place to start.
