5 ★Once you understand the exercises it's quite easy to use. I think my ear is improving but very slowly, almost can't notice the improvement after one month of casual use but it is there.
1 ★I get the written part. I know what they want you to do. But having a note play then guess the interval by the sound of it, for me it is pure guessing.The user needs to be able to actually hear it before they try it. 30 minutes of guessing gets me nowhere 35% was my best guess. I'lll give it a week but if I am only guessing, I'm not learning. I have been working with ear training a few months, Gives your stats mine show up at 0. Then 10 then 0. Guesses
5 ★It's really an app to train your hearing. I'm really having a good time exploring this app. You should try it out too if you desire to be able to pick out musical notes by just hearing them being played.
1 ★Yet another ear training app that doesn't know how to offer the right level for your ability. You have to set everything up yourself. It only provides statistics. It also uses a really awful recording of a piano note. There's no way I can spend several hours listening to that.
4 ★Haven't gone through all the app as yet but works well so far. For the ear training, have to remember to use the smaller key board if the interval is outside the shown range on the upper one. Been caught a few times, and scolded "wrong".
5 ★Very good - the addition of singing is really what does it for me as it makes a huge difference pitching the note yourself. I will say I think the specificity of the note in terms of intonation is a bit harsh but it does force you to improve, even if it is a bit frustrating as a non singer.
5 ★I had no expectations of this app but the ratings were good so i downloaded. The functions and instructions are user friendly, listening exercises chart your daily progress so I'm learning while mapping my progress. Its fun, its free and after 2 days of using, i have no regrets
4 ★Near perfect app. My only feedback would be to allow the option to use the keyboard WITHOUT it showing you the root note. Then you have to find it, so perhaps allow you to experiment finding the root not, then press confirm choice, then you must get the rest right
5 ★It's a solid ear training app. The best out of all the ear training apps I've tried out there. I've gotten a lot better at playing by ear after just a month of use! The free version already offers a lot, and yet I decided to go premium to support the devs. 5/5 definitely download this!
4 ★Just started using it tonight. So far, so good. I've only done about 6 interval exercises so far, and can see I have a lot to learn. I really like being about to hit the button to hear the difference between the intervals.
5 ★This is the ear training app for serious musicians. It has many different exercises from very easy to very hard. Using this app has helped me recognize what I'm hearing faster and more confidently.
5 ★I use this app for singing exercise and it is really good. I wish there is an option to selectively upgrade one section (e.g. sing) to premium, and then I can have as many custom exercises as possible.
