Instale o aplicativo do SINDICATO DOS TRABALHADORES FEDERAIS EM SAÚDE, TRABALHO E PREVIDÊNCIA.O SINDPREV/BA surgiu em 1989, período conceituado como o momento “positivo do sindicalismo”, pois existia um grande movimento grevista e expansão de surgimento da CUT (fundada em 1983) e do avanço da organização dos trabalhadores em seus locais de trabalho.
No ano de 1999, metade da categoria era composta por aposentados e a estimativa do sindicato era que dentro de cinco anos seu quadro estaria composto por 80% de aposentados, por isso está ocorrendo uma mudança no perfil da categoria.
O sindicato manteve-se no sistema presidencialista até o ano 2000, seus cargos estiveram organizados de forma verticalizada com figura do presidente, vice, secretaria geral, tesoureiro e secretaria de formação, secretaria de imprensa e divulgação, secretaria de seguridade social, secretaria de aposentados, secretaria de esporte, cultura e lazer, secretarias regionais, secretaria de política sociais, secretaria jurídica e conselho fiscal.
