1 ★HORRIBLE!! This latest update completely killed the app for me. Theres way too many ads, the app will not even work for me anymore. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, NOTHING IS WORKING! The ads will not load so I can finish my photo and when I googled the issue the common problem was adblocker. I do not have adblocker, I've no clue what's wrong with this app. The app was perfect 4 years ago but much like everything else in the world they became money hungry. I use this to edit the photos I take as a part time photographer. The app is absolutely not worth $5, $1.99 maybe. If they could simply fix their broken app I'd be happy to write a nicer review.
3 ★Hello, I recently wrote a wonderful review because I believe this app is really great. However, I am returning today and am experiencing some problems. Whenever I go back into the app (after it crashes and returns me to my home screen) it displays a black screen and will continue to glitch. This is very offputting after full cooperation the previous times. Is there a way to fix this? A reply would greatly help. Though this is happening, it's an astounding app. Thank you!
4 ★Do NOT pay for the additional features. I initially paid for the $1 a month plan, thinking that was fine. But then, after a month, it switched me over to paying 20 dollars for an entire year which I did not consent to. Very sketchy with payment methods, and even without paying, there are way too many ads. Edit: Fortunately, I was refunded in my payment and messaged back after emailing. Therefore, I've changed my rating. This is a good app, but the payment and such is still confusing.

They haven't simply introduced new features that you have to pay to unlock--they've actually locked some of the original features (like patch, half of the already-sucky filters, and the "smoother" option) and skyrocketed the premium prices. It's not a one-time purchase anymore, it's a monthly subscription. And it's either $3.49 for a month, $20.04 for a year ($1.67/month) or a one-time purchase of merely $49.99! LAME. Download Snapseed instead, at least it's completely free!
1 ★Facetune? More like wastetune. I used Facetune version 1 for many, many years. Even paying the fee for the Pro version multiple times when I switched devices or accounts. It was my rock, my goto for image touch ups. This new version just sucks compared to the original, and the Pro fee? Yeah right. All that says is, "Hi! We are greedy and lazy developers." No thanks fellas. It's time for me to find a new standard.
1 ★wow 😳 I totally understand a free version has to have ads, I do. However there is such a thing as too many and every time I clicked on anything an ad would pop up. After a long time I finally tried to save a photo and had to spend another 30 seconds watching an ad before it would save lol. Also, hardly any good features in the free version. So this is completely structured to force you to be a premium paying customer, or lose your mind and decide to delete.
4 ★In general it's a very good editing app! I'm just really bummed about a few things. The recent update made it so the picture zooms out once a tool is selected, and I really hate making accidents while zooming in and having to cancel it to redo. Plus I think taking away the resize tool was a mistake. I really really loved that one! Otherwise, I do like a lot of the newer functions. I just wish every tool had the "move" selection. Whiten does not.
1 ★I have the original app (which I already paid a fee for. Thank God I didn't delete the original so I can revert back!). I decided to update to this one. I paid ANOTHER fee & purchased the app. Soon after, the amount was returned & I was prompted with the confusing request to pay a monthly or yearly fee to continue without ads. Keep in mind, the ADS ARE AWFUL because you have to watch a video everytime you want to go to the next step/save progress. It's a pain so I'm sticking with the 1st one.
1 ★Wasn't amazing to begin with, but it had its advantages. Now it suddenly, with no warning at all, made features that used to be free "VIP Exclusive". I was using them a few days ago! The most useful features, too. And I could barely get it to open images out of my camera roll, and it would randomly shut down sometimes. Complete garbage.
3 ★I've seen other people use Facetune2 and they have so many more features than I have access to. For example, other users are able to selectively increase color vibrancy on only some parts of the picture. I can't find that feature anywhere on the app. Another example is the "restore" tool in the reshape option. I don't have the restore tool but again, it would be really useful. I don't understand why this app is missing these tools.
2 ★They have added more ads, which its annoying but not the big problem, I went to edit a picture today and it popped up and said "pay to remove ads or watch an ad." I select to watch an ad (like I always do) and it refuses to show me an ad, no lie I tried this like at least 25 times. So overall, if you are willing to buy the version with no ads then it's worth it. Update: I had the original facetune and I went to edit a photo yesterday and now I have facetune 2! Which I have to pay to use, not cool
1 ★This would be a great app if not so many of the highly sought-after features (like blemish removers, skin touch-ups, added backgrounds, most of the added light effects) weren't locked behind a pay wall. Why can't ads, which the app is loaded with, be enough? If you want this app to be useful as a photo editor you'll need to pay a monthly, yearly or one-time payment ($70 for a one-time payment, that's insanely expensive for a phone app!) Uninstalled.
