When schizophrenia is active, symptoms can include delusions, hallucinations, trouble with thinking, concentration, and a lack of motivation.
It is extremely important for Social Workers and Emergency Response Personnel to understand the conditions that affect individuals suffering from Schizophrenia and how to best interact with them in a time of need or crisis.
