Description

Lockwatch secretly takes a photo using the front camera when someone enters an incorrect unlock code on your phone. It then emails you a picture of the intruder along with their GPS location, without them knowing.

The app has helped recover many lost and stolen phones, and has been featured in several TV and online news stories.

Lockwatch uses Android's built-in lock screen and has a small app size, running only when an incorrect unlock code is entered.

Note: You must enter at least four digits or dots for each unlock attempt to be counted. If the correct code is entered within 10 seconds, Lockwatch will not send the email to avoid false alarms.

The app offers additional features, such as the ability to attach multiple photos and audio clips to the email, email notifications when a new SIM card is inserted or when the phone is turned on.

5 ★Lockwatch is not working on my mobile Actually to my email I tried on other Mobile too But I'm not getting even one mail

3 ★Worked perfectly for a while, but now it doesn't. At least, not entirely. Still getting the mails but with no information whatsoever on location, photo's, soundbites, etc. Suddenly I can't change location permissions to 'permanent'. Opions are 'when the app is in use', 'ask every time' and 'disable'. Can't find it anywhere in the settings so it becomes practically useless. Shame... (I have the premium version, btw)

5 ★Nice app but i think if it work offline also than should be more better

1 ★NOT WORKING WITH ANDROID 11 Every time I restart my phone (every morning) I get warning emails with no photos or sound. I should not be getting these warnings regardless as my phone is fully unlocked when shutting down. Don't spend your money on this application until they get it working if they can as this has been a problem for almost 2 months now.

3 ★Android 11 broke it. I've been using the app for several years, it's awesome when it works but with 11 it doesn't or can't ask for the right perms. It needs camera - always, not only when using app for example. With some work this could be the best security app for android again.

1 ★Used to be a great app, now is of no use at all. Since upgrading to Android 11 (which has additional security restrictions), it doesn't allow you to select location or camera access while not using the app, so when someone attempts to unlock my phone I get an email with no location or photos. Other apps support this setting. I emailed the developers about this but haven't received a reply. Kind of disappointed that I paid for the premium version now.

5 ★Simple and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The ability to track your lost device without remembering a special word or which one of your contacts you're supposed to send the special word from. Everything you need is sent to you in the body of an email once someone has attempted to gain access to your device. A photo from the front camera when the attempt was made, map showing the location of the device at the time the screen lock was incorrectly input and a link to continue tracking.

5 ★Love this app! Been using it for about 2 years now & it's always worked great. And I've switched phones, using multiple different Samsung devices, numerous times & never had an issue on any of the ones I've used. For the most part (depends on the person trying to unlock the phone & if they are moving around a lot more than anything), it takes clear pics. Even in the dark, without the flash, obviously, still gets a clear pic! Highly recommended!
