3 ★FOLLOW UP: 11 nov 2019 something change in this up, not anymore intrusive, permission only asking for access GPS, i like that good job macro point, need more time but i now willing to try THX ===== really? you want access to my phone call's? well it will not happen! im canceling this load because of this. Access to location ok fine but other things on phone? not going to happen
1 ★Won't stop tracking when stop tracking option is selected in the pause tracking menu. 3 weeks later, still not fixed. But how do I need to send you my phone number? And why do you need it to investigate this problem with YOUR application??
1 ★Just one more way to track you. I already pay enough for one tracking device that I'm required to have, but having my phone tracked too is a bit much. Plus all the phone calls to confirm I'm where it says I am. I think it's all BS. I might be a little more ok with the whole thing if they were the ones paying my phone bill
2 ★Every time I click on any button to update the load status, the entire load info vanishes. It can't be updated any more if I can't find it. Even tried to reset it by the initial text but that seldom works. Very frustrating 😡. Would be worse if my paycheck depended on the accuracy of this app.
1 ★1- Does not automatically report my location to shipper. 2- Sends me texts extremely early in the morning (0300 to 0500), interrupting my sleep. 3- Tells me to click a link for automatic tracking. Automatic means set and forget. 4- Continues with #2 even after trip is complete and load is delivered. My personal view: this "tracking mechanism" is a time-waster that harasses the driver.
4 ★Works well. I just wish these tracking apps would inform brokers arrive and depart times. Rather than just arrive and depart without times. Thanks for the response. I added 1 star. I always tell the broker " I checked in on the app" They usually say it doesn't give them a time. Probably just there excuse as they seem to like calling us drivers for any reason.
1 ★Serves the purpose. But I am giving one star for crashing and for reason that always runs in background. Even when not using. That shouldn't be happening. It should run in background only when using app. Not all the time. When I switch settings to run only when using app in phone settings Macropoint wouldn't work. Samsung Galaxy s20 plus.
1 ★Had a customer require it for a load, download it, and use it then uninstalled it. Got my next load, found out that at the end of that load macropoint had tracked that load as well by shipper. Someone tell me how this happened? This is not the 1st time this has happened. I had to completely reset my phone last time. Don't trust this app
5 ★So I am supposed to download this app for my load but for some reason it just WILL NOT DOWNLOAD!! I've tried wifi on, wifi off. Hotspot on, hotspot off. Nothing works! It just says "waiting for download" with that annoying as hell green circle spinning around! Very VERY frustrating!!! Update.... I did as you suggested and I finally got it to work. Clearing the data was the key. Thank you!
1 ★You don't need access to my phone calls, photos or other messages! Only my location. Update to your teply: And you say you don't ask for our email address, but you get it from our Google Play account when we download the app. I still don't trust you lying bast*rds. If you did it once, you can do it again with an update that we're not notified about because it's "automatic" and done without our knowledge. Why does it still demand access to "manage and receive phone calls?!?
3 ★I dont like to much that it updates every 15 minutes because it seems to use my battery up more and its like invading my privacy it feels like. But the information on it is great and i also like arrival/departure instead of being put on hold waiting to talj to a broker or dispatch.
1 ★There is ABSOLUTELY no reason for this app to have control of making phone calls or have access to my photos. And since these are MANDATORY to use the app I would rather make check calls then to ever use this app. Oh, and if you tell me the photos are so I can scan or the phone calls so I can call from the app, then make them OPTIONAL and I would have allowed when I needed it. But to make them MANDATORY just proves that you are a VOYEUR and I want no part of this app.
