Description
Laboratory Life ist eine Arbeit des Künstlers Andreas Bunte, die anlässlich der Skulptur Münster 2017 entstanden ist.Laboratory Life besteht aus einer Serie von Kurzfilmen, die durch Poster an bestimmten Orten im Stadtraum von Münster aufgerufen werden können. Jedes Poster enthält einen QR-Code, der mit einem der Kurzfilme verlinkt ist. Sobald ein Film einmal durch das Scannen des entsprechenden QR Codes aktiviert ist, bleibt er im Archiv dieser App zugänglich. Ein einfacher Stadtplan hilft bei der Navigation zu den Poster-Standorten in der Stadt.
Die Filme zeigen Alltagshandlungen und -prozesse, die aus ihrem ursprünglichen Kontext herausgelöst und in einer laborähnlichen Situation nachgestellt wurden. So entsteht ein kleines Archiv von Bewegungsmustern, die sowohl von ihrem Ursprung im Alltag berichten, als auch auf die Bedingungen ihrer Inszenierung verweisen.
Skulptur Projekte Münster ist eine internationale Kunstausstellun, die seit 1977 alle 10 Jahre stattfindet. Ein zentrales Thema der Ausstellung ist das Verhältnis von Kunst und öffentlichen Raum, welches durch eine Reihe neu kommissionierter Kunstwerke reflektiert wird.
