Description

This is a simple app that allows you to adjust the Ringer and Notification volumes with one slider.
Samsung and Motorola (maybe others) decided to split the Ringtone and Notification volumes on their current OS versions (4.0.x - 5.0.x). This makes it difficult to easily adjust them both without diving into the settings app, getting into the volume section and sliding them both where you want. This app will display a dialog that will allow you to easily set both of those volumes at the same time.
---
Note: It will only use the physical volume buttons to set both volume levels when the app is being displayed. This is not meant to be a global volume replacement, only a quick way to set both volumes at once.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★While the app does work, it only keeps the volumes linked if adjusting through the app. If you simply press the volume key up or down by itself the volume still is not linked. You have to open the app first which kind of defeats the purpose
5 ★Adjust both ringer and text volumes in 1 step! Just what i wanted. Surprised android ICS doesn't give this option. No suspicious permissions or ads either :)
5 ★we all know that ics screwed up by not having the option to link these two in the first place, but this app does what it says and makes the annoying 5 step process into a quicker 2 step process.
5 ★I have had the same complaint. Thanks for sharing this with us!
5 ★Kinda new it wouldn't from app description but tried anyways .
1 ★Not compatible with galaxy s6
3 ★Exactly what I've been looking for except it doesn't use the volume rocker on the side. Will give two more stars when this is fixed.
5 ★Gives back a feature that shouldn't have been removed.
3 ★Now how do I map this app to my volume buttons?
5 ★No permissions. Its simple and does what it's supposed to.
4 ★Simple linked volume app. A widget might be useful, but it's a good simple app.
5 ★Would love this to be linked to the rocker on the side of the phone.
