Theo Cục Viễn thông, Bộ Thông tin và truyền thông (TT&TT), việc đổi mã vùng điện thoại cố định chính thức bắt đầu từ ngày 15/9/2018, và dự kiến kết thúc vào ngày 30/6/2019. Sau khi quá trình này hoàn tất, toàn bộ các đầu số từ 03 tới 08 sẽ được dành cho các thuê bao di động.Ứng dụng giúp cập nhật tất cả danh bạ điện thoại 11 số sang 10 số một cách nhanh chóng và thuận tiện nhất!
Các tiện ích mà ứng dụng cung cấp:
• Tự động hiển thị tất cả các số điện thoại 11 số cần được cập nhật.
• Phân loại số điện thoại theo từng nhà mạng Viettel, Vinaphone, Mobifone, Gtel và Vietnamobile.
• Cho phép lựa chọn danh sách số điện thoại để cập nhật lại theo đầu số mới.
• Hỗ trợ tất cả đầu số 11 số của 5 nhà mạng.
• Chỉ với 1 thao tác đơn giản là tất cả danh bạ được cập nhật chính xác lại.

In Vietnam, the changing of telephone area code begins on September 15, 2018, and it is finished on June 30, 2019. After this process is completed, the mobile phone numbers which contains 11 digit numbers will be changed with the prefix from 03 to 08.
