Description
The HSE app is a mobile tool that allows the user to conduct:Field Level Risk Assessment prior to the start of work to identify and control variable hazards of the work being performed;
Behavioural Based Safety observations on employees and supervisors performing job tasks making note of safe and at-risk behaviours for discussion with the aim of improving workplace behaviour.
Vehicle Inspections as required to ensure the vehicle is maintained in a safe driving condition prior to the use of the vehicle.
Globally, this tool was created to help employees from each line of business, regardless of role, to consider the risks in their environment prior to the start of their work to ensure the safety and well-being of all. It is helping people to recognize hazardous situations which could result in injuries if not controlled. SGS employees have the obligation to report these situations to their supervisors and make sure corrective actions are put in place before commencing the work.
