One of the reasons I decided to make this spreadsheet vertical is ever since grade school we were taught to add long columns of numbers vertically. Till this day it is easier for most of us to estimate numbers vertically than horizontally, just ask Lehman Bros. where there was a mistake reading a spreadsheet costing hundreds of millions of dollars which is one of the reasons they went broke. So I hope this will help you keep from making gross errors.This is not intended to be used for running a large corperation but for any person on the go to figure expenses, budgets, estimating and for anyone to figure out anything that involves numbers..
Another thing I will do is keep the U.I. the same. There is nothing more frustrating and time consuming, for instance you go use a new version or Microsoft or Paypal and nothing is in the same place you have to spend hours on learning how to use it again.
Most of the calculator buttons are standard except for blue ones. There are three blue buttons in the calculator buttons section and these control the spreadsheet.
1. Cf = Clears the spreadsheet totally.
2. Tot = Sends the calculator display to the next blank calculator field where it is evaluated.
3. NC=Stands for new calculation. Here the total field is subtracted from the total field making the next row 0 and ready for a new calculation. This is what makes it a spreadsheet calculator.
The Spreadsheet
1. The blue numbered buttons to the left on the spreadsheet when clicked will delete the row.
2. When you click in any form field with numbers in them the numbers will be sent to the calculator display for further editing or totaling different new calculations.
