Description
Arbor Familiae is an Android genealogy app with a family tree viewer which allows you to access any GEDCOM to make a tree, as well as generating a number of different reports.* Create multiple trees by importing GEDCOM files. The imported trees are stored internally making it easy to switch between different trees. Trees can be renamed by long pressing on the tree item.
* Details of individuals, showing information such as birth and death details, parents, spouses and children, notes and sources. You can also navigate by clicking on individuals names.
* The fan chart shows the currently active individual's ancestors or descendants, up to the specified number of generations. Clicking on the centre switches between ancestor and descendant view, while long clicking on individuals sets them as the active person in the chart.
* The tree chart shows the currently active individual's ancestors up to the specified number of generations, as well as the active individuals immediate family. Clicking on an individual sets that person as the active individual.
* The relationship chart graphically shows the relationship between the specified root individual and the currently active individual.
* Charts allow exporting as a PNG image to other applications.
* Reports for ancestry and descendants can be displayed or exported.
The GEDCOM import can handle files of arbitrary size, depending on the amount of available memory, and has been tested with family trees of up to 32000 individuals.
