Traditionally, parents seeking information about their students' progress had to sift through assignment planners, email instructors, or wait for report cards. But the wait is over! Canvas Parent is designed to provide visibility into your child's education at a glance. Canvas Parent allows parents to:

• View assignment descriptions and due dates
• Set reminders for assignments
• View assignment grades
• View course grades
• Set grade alerts
• View course announcements

Important: This mobile app is only usable by parents whose children attend schools that have enabled Canvas Parent.

How to install Canvas Parent APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★Canvas is terrible. I literally get 60 emails a day from canvas and there is no option for me to turn off email notifications in the app. And there isn't on the website either. I am so sick of emails!!!!!

4 ★I enjoy the app. I wish there was a way to filter on only missing assignments (or whatever else). I only want to see what's upcoming, late, or missing.

1 ★No way to create account. I go through all of the steps, but at the end it insists I declare myself as a student or a teacher and only allows these option of using Canvas Student app or Canvas Instructor app. What!? Useless.

1 ★Can't Sign In. I keep getting an error message every time. It's frustrating especially since I'm trying to stay on top of my child's progress in school and continuously getting an error message. Please fix it immediately. A very concerned parent.

4 ★This is really helpful in keep my kids on track while I'm at work and they are distance learning. I'm really liking the set up and feel like it's working out better for my kids than in person school!

2 ★Needs a lot of work around filters and customizing what you want to see. Decent visibility into child's work, but difficult to navigate.

4 ★Easy overview provided of my children's grades in all subjects. Would be nice if the assignment grades within each subject could be sorted by Module or date not just "Tiers".

5 ★This is an excellent tool that should be permanently implemented in traditional and non traditional learning platforms. It allows me to stay in the loop and be mor involved then ever before. That added accountability is reflected in my sons grades. Going from failing to all A's and B's! Please allow parent to continue observing.

3 ★The email notifications should take you directly to the message or grade. I spend too much time searching for the update once it takes me to canvas.

2 ★Doesn't have all the same info as desktop. Also, calendar doesn't work for one of my students. The school thinks it's due to special characters used in his Spanish class like accents and reverse question marks.
