Description

By installing this application, as soon as you receive a notification there is a flash as your phone starts blinking for the LED notification.
It can be useful to anyone that has a device without the LED notification, but instead have a flash next to the selfie camera.

It also extends the concept of notification to the unread badges received from the applications (ex. the "Facebook like"). So, when an unread badge pops up, in the same way as a "normal" notification the flash starts blinking and you will be notified of what's going on.
Various settings are also available to better configure the application to suit your needs.

It works on all devices equipped with a front flash, regardless of whether or not they have the hardware LED notification.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★I really want to like this app (free/no adds). It works for email/text. But does not work for missed calls or voice mail. The problem may be LG/ATT app Mobile Services Manager. I have LG Phoenix 4 running Oreo 8.1.0. Also I would like variable flash intensity (someone suggested super short flash durations). Also please allow rear flash to flash even when the phone is face up (one could still see the rear flash when face up especially if phone resting or propped on something like a coaster).
5 ★Nice app but wish there could be different flash colour for each notification, like flashing a red colour for low battery
2 ★Nice app. 4 stars IMO. I've only been using it for a week on my non-fancy Moto E5 Play, but if it continues to remain reliable and stable, then it's worthy of 5 stars. It is light weight and I LOVE its simplicity. I hope the creator of this app doesn't make the mistake so many others have by adding so many features and bells and whistles that the app becomes bloated, overly complicated to use, and buggy. My best advice: Keep It Simple. 80-90% of the users don't need a zillion features; they just want it to be great at what it's supposed to do - blink when a notification arrives. 1/30/20 UPDATE: Well, unfortunately I'm finding this app to be buggy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And yes...I have battery optimization turned off. Sigh...I had high hopes for this app. Dropping the rating down to 2 stars. Maybe a future update will fix it.
5 ★This app is fantastic! When I initially bought (my current) phone, I discovered that it did not have not any type of visual notifications for incoming text or emails as my old phone did; after searching the web for something like this app I decided to give it a try and it was precisely what I needed! Great app.
5 ★l Love it💜I have tried many flash notifications that just did not work..this is the only one...by far...that has worked...just as it's suppose too on my Moto G7 Play😊...don't even waste your time on a different one..this is the BEST. Thank You 3ndy!! Also 3ndy...my positive feedback suggestion is...hopefully in future updates, there will be an option that the "Flashing Loop" continues until addressed..not just the 60 minute limit. Again..Thank You 3ndy...this app is the best!!!💜
4 ★Almost exactly what I want, but the flash is a bit right, pretty sure a plane could use it to find a runway, and there seems to be no way to dim it.
4 ★Was very happy with the app until recently. Now each time my device is rebooted an unwanted shortcut gets re-added to my desktop with the added annoyance of a notification sound informing me of such. I can't find anywhere to disable this annoying behavior. Want to rate this 5 stars, it's a great app. Device is Moto E4 Plus, running Android 7.1.2
1 ★Well it was good... Now it is telling me that the version I have installed is outdated and it sends me to update to the new version which still says it is outdated! It is disabled until it is fixed so I can't use it until it is. I DO NOT LIKE BEING FORCED TO UPGRADE AND REALLY DO NOT LIKE MY APPS TO DISABLE THEMSELVES WHEN THEY ARE WORKING FINE!!! BYE!!!
3 ★Needs update. Very good idea but so many issues. Sometimes it still flashes even though I'm using the phone(it's not meant to work that way) The pause feature doesn't work, it still flashes after the time period I've set for the night The flashing period should be customisable because 1 hour might be too long. Otherwise, good initiative. Can't wait to see the update. For the time being i disabled it
5 ★This is the BEST notification flash App! Working as designed on Moto C Plus; (MT chipset w/stock Android 7, Evie launcher) had to give it "camera permissions" to get it to work on the rear flash as well (when turned upside down) but so far - brilliant! Totally solves the "Motorola don't have no LED's" problem! Thank you so much!!
4 ★its a nice app but still need some additional features to make this app better like in incoming call if we face down the phone the screen and ringtone turned off but flash always active. its work on do not disturb mode also. In my opinion these should be corrected to make this more reliable and convenient.
1 ★Two annoying problems. 1. No matter what I set the service suspension time to (I've it from 9PM to 8AM), it'll disable a few minutes after 12AM always and activates back at 8:40AM. 2. I always keep my phone lay on its screen while I sleep. It won't flash while the phone is in that position, which is good. But when I pickup the phone just after I wake up, it flashes that pending flash of the last notification, right into my eyes and makes me want to throw my phone away.I feel blind for next 5 secs
