5 ★Exceptional! It does so much! Add programs to whitelist for use or add them to notification area to turn on by notification tap, then can have them disable again after time interval. Or single tap notification area to turn off or on microphone blocker. Their Camera Blocker is also the best and works the same, many features. I found it better then Camera blocker 2019. Will tell more in review of Camera Blocker put out by this company. Thanks for 2 wonderful products. Using S8 plus.
5 ★Excellent app and works nearly 99% of the time, but not sure it truly stops your phone listening in. For instance, Google assistance still activates even with the microphone blocked. Not sure if this is because Google hardwired the voice recognition for the assistance to override everything else, or whether the devs need further work on this? Otherwise, as I say, great app 👍
5 ★Works exactly as expected. Prevents google and other apps fom connecting to the micrphone.
2 ★I have had this app for over a year. The continuing issue is that you can turn the mic blocker one. But whether it is half a day or two days later, the blocker is no longer working. If you think that this app is a secure way for privacy, you better not depend on it. It seems to be more of a flawed gimmicky app. At least if you are actually expecting real privacy I would depend on this app.

1 ★I set it to block - and hey presto it somehow gets unblocked! My reply to your reply: I don't have so many apps really but my phone is full enough for me not to want even MORE apps. If i download an app called microphone blocker, I'd kind of hope it would be enough to do what the name suggested it did without having to add other apps. Sorry.
5 ★wow seems to really work. i highly recommend it. ok in more detail in order to block the mic apps use the record permission to keep the mic busy. other apps i looked at has internet access and records and appears to send the auduo over the internet. i call this unwanted (spying). this app however i dont see that happening. in fact it doesnt have internet permission at all! very pleased
4 ★Nice app but it's not for me. I want to shut off the internal built-in microphone and use an external microphone through the phone jack. I currently use an external microphone on my Windows PC but not on my Google Android tablet because all microphones will be shut down because of your app. Will be uninstalling. Thanks anyway.
2 ★I'm unclear on how effective this app is. It alerts me when the mic is blocked when i try to open the camcorder app, which leads me to believe it is functioning correctly. However, I recently found myself speaking Spanish with a friend and decided quickly to Google something. The first terms input were Chinese, and the Google prediction of the final word was in Spanish. I only ever perform searches in English, so why did Google switch to Spanish for this search unless the app wasn't working?
1 ★This app does not do what it says it does. It only blocks your mic sometimes. There is a constant notification on the top of the screen that will tell you if the mic is blocked or not. I accidently pressed the google speach button while I was sending a text and found out that the mic could hear me and I checked to see if the notification said my mic was blocked and it did. Dissapointed.
4 ★It works overall, I purchased the premiun version. The widget usually turns grey even if the app is working in the background blocking the mic, please fix it. I set the app to block the microphone again after 15 minutes and sometimes it doesn't work, same on the camera blocker please fix also this. I gave four stars because aside from this annoying inperfections the app does what it promises.
