De toezichthouder in de ochtend, een kinderarts na haar dienst, een dakloze op een bankje, de eigenaar van een parkhotel, een toerist … waarom zoeken ze het park op? People of the Park (www.peopleofthepark.nl)verzamelt hun verhalen. Hierdoor krijgt het park gezicht voor iedereen. En ontstaat een document.
We starten met het Oosterpark en zullen van daaruit meerdere parken in Nederland gaan ontdekken.
People of the park is oorspronkelijk geïnitieerd door Gemeente Amsterdam / Stadsdeel Oost (www.amsterdam.nl) en bedrijven aan het Oosterpark. Het concept is van iPhone fotograaf Annet de Graaf (www.snapthecity.com) Powered by XHIBY (www.xhiby.com)
Hoe werkt het?
Met de app heb je alle People of the Park portretten en verhalen binnen handbereik en per park gelokaliseerd op de kaart. Een bladerboek, maar dat niet alleen.

People of the Park wordt belangrijk voor fotografen in Nederland en bij succes internationaal. Met de eerstvolgende update wordt de app interactief; een spannend avontuur.
