KIVI jaarcongres 2016 Leven met risico’sOp 30 november organiseert het Koninklijk Instituut Van Ingenieurs (KIVI) haar jaarcongres in Gorinchem. Damen Shipyards, Corbion en de Gemeente Gorinchem zullen KIVI gastvrij onthalen. We kijken tijdens deze dag naar de rol van de ingenieur op het gebied van risico’s en veiligheid waarbij zowel risico’s die met techniek meekomen als vermindering van risico’s door de inzet van techniek worden besproken.
Gorinchem is bij uitstek een plaats waar we over dit thema kunnen spreken. Omgevingsveiligheid, gevaarlijke transporten en hoogwaterrisico’s komen hier allemaal voor, en de bedrijven en overheden die daar slim mee omgaan vind je in deze gemeente op steenworp afstand van elkaar. Het belooft een bijzonder dag te worden waar prof. mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven en de president-directeur van Prorail, Pier Eringa keynotes geven. In de middag worden diverse symposia georganiseerd die een viertal verschillende thema’s rond ‘Slim omgaan met risico’s en veiligheid’ verder zullen uitdiepen.
