Touch Protector is a simple app that disables touch screen and physical button operations, but it has many useful uses.
- When walking while looking at a map app, the map does not shift even if you touch the screen.
- Walking with the music video playing in your pocket.

Basic Usage
- Lock the screen with notification bar, shake, etc.
- Unlock the screen with the volume key.

- PROXIMITY > Proximity covered locking > ON

- HARD KEYS > Volume up key unlocking > ON
- HARD KEYS > Volume down key unlocking > ON
Emergency Unlock
If you are unable to unlock your phone, please try the following.
- Press the volume button.
- Connect your phone to a power source.
- Make a call to the phone and touch the screen.
- Touch the screen 5 times to display the other unlock methods.
- Remove the SIM card to force reboot your phone.
- Restart your phone forcibly according to the method found by searching for "force restart your-phone-name".
Randomly Terminated!
Your phone's battery control feature may be forcing Touch Protector to terminate.
You may want to exclude Touch Protector from the phone's battery control. The following website is helpful for setting exclusion.

Restrictions for Android 8 and later
Due to additional restrictions in Android OS 8 or later, Touch Protector can no longer disable the notification bar (top edge of the screen) and navigation bar (bottom edge of the screen). Therefore, Touch Protector will close the notification bar and navigation bar as soon as they are displayed to reduce accidental operation.

1 ★I downloaded this app back on 08/04/2020, and after destroying a document, I tried uninstalling this app. To date, with many tries, it won't uninstall off my phone. It's still on my phone! The app, here on Google Play, shows "Install" but it's still on my phone. So I tapped Install. It went through the motions of installing, then I pressed "uninstall" and it went back to saying "Install!" But. It's STILL ON MY PHONE! HELP!
3 ★You need to make it so you don't have to force stop the app to completely shut it off.

4 ★This app was perfect. Now for some reason the option to turn on advanced features using accessibility services has disappeared. Which means the soft back, home, and recent keys cannot be locked and locking those is just as important as locking the screen. Update: I hadn't turned accessibility on, but it still didn't appear. I fiddled with every menu item and finally found it, but the instructions aren't correct on how to turn it on.

5 ★Best Screen lock ! I have installed more than 20 of these app all filled with ads and watermarks and BS . This is so simple. I have it mapped so two quick presses on the volume up locks and two quick presses down unlocks. So simple , so fast and so effective

5 ★My 3 yr old kid touches the screen bottom, home button appears and vanishes. On the next touch at the middle bottom of the screen, the frozen app gets minimized.. that kills the purpose of freezing whatsapp video calls for kids. Can you fix it pls? Amazing app otherwise.
