Mis últimos proyectos son el eslabón más reciente en la evolución de mi carrera artística, que se define por tres premisas. En primer lugar, el interés por traspasar las fronteras de la imagen pintada bidimensional hacia el espacio que la rodea. En segundo lugar, el uso de estrategias que esconden parcialmente la imagen para huir de la explicitud. En tercer lugar, la búsqueda de un canon de belleza propio y la construcción de nuevos significados a partir de la recuperación y revisión de la historia del arte.En mi obra, el espacio del cuadro ya no es aquel que se abre de forma ilusoria detrás del muro, sino delante del cuadro, hacia el espacio del espectador. Para ello, utilizo el recurso de la anamorfosis, una práctica de deformación de la imagen que se inicia en el renacimiento. Con ello, pretendo convertir el cuadro en un objeto que, como una escultura, debe observarse desde más de un punto de vista que no es únicamente frontal: esto es, desde el margen del cuadro, donde una parte de la imagen pierde su deformación y es legible. El cuadro deja de ser únicamente una superficie de dos dimensiones, al incorporar un área externa a él que implica la tercera dimensión. Esto incita al espectador a adoptar una forma de mirar más activa.
