Le réseau des galeries, « Panorama, espaces art actuel » en collèges et lycées de l'académie de Caen, montre la réussite exemplaire de la coopération entre le ministère de l’Éducation nationale, de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche et le ministère de la Culture et de la Communication, réaffirmée comme une priorité nationale à l’heure de la mise en place du parcours d’éducation artistique et culturelle de l’élève.
Le réseau des « espaces art actuel » constitue un lieu privilégié dans lequel artistes et jeunes entrent en contact. L’art vient à la rencontre de la communauté éducative par la présence des œuvres et des artistes au sein des établissements scolaires. Il en nourrit le fonctionnement.
