Description

Get recreational fish species information on the go with the NZ Fishing Rules App. The application helps you to identify recreational fish species common in your area through images, then displays relevant information such as the minimum legal size, maximum daily limits and area bag limits. Short videos embedded within the application show how to release undersize fish correctly and also how to measure/determine the sex of crayfish. Local notices will give you updates on any temporary closures in the area.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★Didnt work on my phone.
1 ★doesnt even have pictures of fish..
1 ★does not work all you see is the disclaimer
1 ★app is broken wont go past legal disclaimer
1 ★all there is with this app is a disclaimer
3 ★OMG I think it's working again
1 ★won't open
5 ★Great app.
1 ★Fish id is next to useless. Sure photo id can filter to candidates, instead of user have to scroll thumbnail images trying to find match... If user clicks though fish species to closures there is no way back to select another species other than restarting the whole drill down process again (time waster feature?)
5 ★great
3 ★Generally useful, however seems light or totally lacking on some essentials. I.e. Where are the dive fishing rules please eg Kina? Why isn't there a Contact Us option? The only contact us via email sends the ph details to another person rather than allowing contacting MPI etc. It probably needs more of a usability/"can I find what I'm after?" check from public users than the designers.
2 ★Does not show photos of species. Sure I can get photos on internet, shows not a lot of effort whent into development.
