Description
Monumental Trees of Catalonia is an app intended for fans of hiking, and mountain, nature and botanic lovers. Monumental Trees lets you see information about more than 240 protected trees and groves of Catalonia:- Search/filter list of trees by name, region and natural park.
- Order the list of trees by name, region, height, distance from your position, visited/scheduled date.
- Filter by tree status, distance and according to your activity.
- See tree's detail data: species (common and scientific name), tree health status, size (total height, trunk girth, crown spread), distance, shire/town/place and gps coordinates, natural environment, picture,...
- See the position of one or more trees in the map (Google Maps and topographic ICC).
- See your statistics about visited trees.
- Search GPS tracks in Wikiloc by the tree's name.
Also you can add personal information related to a tree:
- Check/Uncheck as favourite
- Check as you have visited the tree, optionally set the date
- Check as scheduled to go there, optionally set the date
- Add a personal note
This information can be seen summarized in the list of trees, as well as order by the date you visited it, date scheduled to go there or by favourites. It's also possible to export full database backup in order to import it later in the same or another device.
Moreover, for each tree you can access aditional species information (Wikipedia) as well as the webpage of the corresponding tree in the natural parks website of Generalitat de Catalunya.
