I samband med en trygghetsvandring laddar varje deltagare ned appen till sin telefon/läsplatta. Under trygghetsvandringen använder deltagarna appen för att skriva synpunkter och ladda upp bilder. Boende, och andra, kan under en angiven tidsperiod gå en förbestämd rutt och genomföra trygghetsvandringen när det passar dem själva. Det innebär en utökad medborgardialog vilken ger de boende fler möjligheter att bidra till att öka tryggheten i sitt bostadsområde.Synpunkter och foton från deltagarna skickas in via appen och sammanställs till en rapport. I rapporten klargörs vem som är ansvarig för vad och när åtgärderna beräknas vara klara. De som deltagit i trygghetsvandringen kan logga in och bevaka att trasiga lampor byts ut, buskage åtgärdas, klotter saneras etc.
Appen bidrar till att förbättra och förenkla genomförandet av trygghetsvandringar.
