- Incoming calls, SMS and MMS notifications can be announced via Morse code using the contact name, the phone number, the last three digits of the phone number and/or any other arbitrary text before or after the contact name or the phone number.
- A custom CW chime can be configured to run hourly.
- Morse code can be played using sound, phone vibration, or both.
- CW speed, audio tone frequency and tone volume can be customized.
- Supports Farnsworth spacing (extra spacing between characters) to make CW more readable to those just starting to learn.
- The user's ringtones and sounds are not replaced by CW. The phone rings normally using the selected ringtones and sounds on incoming calls SMS/MMS messages and notifications. Morse code is played in the background at a user-defined percentage of the foreground sound's volume.
- Announcements can also be displayed, while being played in a notification window. The generated Morse code (the dots and the dashes) are also displayed while they are played. This option is ideal for those trying to learn Morse code.

4 ★It's pretty good. Has a fair amount of customization). It really needs a way of disabling it when the phone is not on sleep mode though; no need for it when you're using it. $9 for pro version is a bit high for me ATM (maybe once I know morse better). Would be nice if free version could at least say which 3rd party app a notification comes from, but still useful.

3 ★As someone who only uses a smartphone for Internet access, not having the ability to read other apps' notification is a no-go. I'm sure this function is available in the full version, but that is impossible to gauge from this version.

2 ★Tried this app instead of SMS Morse because I was hoping it would work for incoming MMS as well as SMS. No luck there. Morse Notifier does have more control over speed & pitch than SMS Morse, but I found weird behavior. It only sometimes reads out the actual text message (I selected this option). Also, if the message was too long & split, sometimes only the second part was played. I don't care about notifications for phone calls, so I switched back to SMS Morse. Nice try.
3 ★App dosen't work on galaxy s8 running android 8.0 even when permissions aregranted. The test works. I think the app is good but certain phones andandroid versions are incompatible.
4 ★It does its job. Only sound though, it would be nice to have it dovibration.
