Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★it's good
1 ★soem serious bugs. failed to upload, and then deleted the drafts. risky to use for precious memories 😭 logging out and using email/password instead of Google OAuth seemed to work?
1 ★I can't do anything on this app! It's so frustrating that I can't even get past the terms, there is no submit button and I tried adding a picture to my profile and it just spins and spins! I'm Uninstaller! Bummed!
5 ★I simply cannot say enough good about StoryCorp. AMAZING!!! 💕👍😁
1 ★Recorded an interview and it didn't allow me to access the draft or upload it.
1 ★at the end it asks, Are you sure you're finished....but there isn't an option to click Yes...there's no way to stop the recording and save it...oh well Sid is 100 now and these were some of his last words...guess they'll just disappear forever. Sid was in the Air Force and was in WWII
1 ★App won't open at all.
2 ★The app (version 1) will not open on my Pixel 5. It tries to open but just shuts down / immediately. I see there is a version 2 of the app but i can't find it on the Google Play store. Any suggestions anyone? EDIT: I discovered that Google has removed the ability of Pixel phones to record phone conversations. This may or may not explain why the app won't open.
1 ★The app is buggy especially if you try moving your interview questions in a different order. On top of that me nor any of my classmates are able to publish our interviews on the app so my teacher had to come up with a back up plan and most of us had to redo our entire interview
1 ★Unfortunately the app won't even open. I tried reinstalling it, but it simply crashes or won't go past the initial screen before minimizing. Is there a bug going on?
