3 ★Loaded with 3rd party trackers, including Facebook. I wish for a "firewall" to block apps accessing the internet (from a non-rooted android), but the majority are in the root, so this app -- were it not tracker-loaded -- would be a partial solution, at least.
1 ★Do not install this product, this product blocked me from aquiring internet access with no recourse........deleted.
1 ★I was sucked in to using Comodo. Sleek set up and UI, but after serious consultation with cyber security engineers, the reality is that this app doesn't offer protection. It plays an animation and says everything is fine. Despite always saying your device is, "at risk" or has, "poor protection". I have been duped by Comodo for years. No longer.
5 ★Best antivirus app for Android but very costly.
1 ★Downloaded the software based on previous experience with Comodo. This time I wanted VPN functionality and it is a cool concept but Comodo just kept butting in where it shouldn't, it kept blocking my browser, my WiFi connection and it was just too much. If I invest in a VPN, its going to be through a much more reputable VPN service at a even if it is at higher cost.
1 ★I download the free version to try out before purchase after reading the comments. I am unable to access the app after sucessfully downloading and setting the app up. When I try to lauch the app, it propmts me to use ghe fingerprint scanner; I never opted for that sign in option. And the scanner does not respond. I am unable to get into the app to see all of the notifications that I have. Not impressed at all...
1 ★They want your credit card before you even try out the VPN. This is quite sad, since a small test period is essential for trust and sales. Everything else this mobile security system features is fluff. It is the VPN that will sell us, not antivirus. And VPN should be a stand- alone feature, not bundled for mobile or PC. I personally detest antivirus software. Just the VPN, please. And a 7-10 day test period before getting our credit card.
3 ★Ever since this app crashed and restarted, my battery life has been draining a lot, alarmingly so. I wonder if it really does block any real time cyber attacks, malware and viruses. On the other hand, a lot of the features in the free version are really quite good and useful.
5 ★Worked well for a few months, then it would get stuck at logo but I cleared data, updated, and now is working well, just as expected. I would strongly recommend this app.
2 ★Kept crashing, uninstalled and reinstalled, seems more stable and capable. However, clarity of control on features I need are missing. So this is one of three apps, not all inclusive I run to pretend to be "patched."
5 ★I have tried more than a few antivirus apps all with limited usages, advertisements and no 'real time protection' unless you purchased the 'full product'. And all of them were not as good as Comodo Mobile Security, which is a free app, with very few ads and offering real time protection; whats more it as a friendly user interface, so all you have to do once you have installed it is go to settings and choose the settings you want to initiate and then forget about it, it's as simple as that.
3 ★I use Comodo on my Windows 7 laptop and it's not without problems when starting on each session. It has to be started manually every time. This Android edition does not have that problem but it's very slow when performing a scan. I do, however, get several false positives following a full scan. No other antivirus has done this in the past, and the only information about the 'danger' is a sentence that says it contains malware. I would like a lot more information to enable me to decide whether to ignore the warning or delete the offending app. The slightly worrying thing is that on previous scans the app was obviously OK as no warning was flagged up.
