3 ★I would have given this 5 stars except for one annoying thing. When you start typing an item in, if you click on it, it adds it in to the master list even if it already exists. So you end up with multiple entries for common things. Then I have to spend an hour cleaning up my master list of duplicates occasionally. Please fix this! Edited 2023: Still has this annoying bug...
3 ★It's fine. Would have given it 5 stars a year or two ago. Definitely slower than it used to be. Example: frustrating and time-consuming to check off an item in store and it not instantly disappear and can't delete multiple items. Have it all customized for my shopping so slow to change but am looking for a more responsive app.
4 ★Have used the app for several years without any problems. However the last 4-5 months I have been unable to move items up or down within the list which is really inconvenient. I like to put items in the order which I get them at the store and when I can't move the items in the list that negates that ability . Reinstate that feature please.
5 ★Easy to use, especially sharing a list so everyone knows what's needed and what's been picked up already. Been using this app for years and rely on it heavily. Love that when I get close to running out of an item, I just open the app, add it to the list so that way I don't forget the item when I go shopping and that feature is great when sharing lists as others can do the same.
2 ★One of the main features we liked about this app is that my wife's and my lists would sync. Now they don't so the app is little more than a list. I find it frustrating that when I start to identify an item, the app brings up the name of an item I have renamed rather than bringing up the name from my history list. I established a user name and password, but I can't get the app to recognize it and can't get it changed. I'm looking for another app
5 ★Great app, I love it. It organizes everything buy aisle. Has so many more options as well. One of my favorite apps. My wife will say "Oh buy the way, if you'll be near a grocery store, please pick up ******". I just click the app and I don't have to remember anything, just 2 clicks, usually done before she finishes her sentence.
5 ★Very convenient app that allows you to create your own list names & as you check off the items, they move from the list. I created a school list just for my son's items he needed for college & as soon as he left for college, I deleted it. I use this for both my shopping & to-do lists regularly. I haven't explored the recipe book yet, but it allows you to save recipes as well. I just started using the pantry list & I must say, it is so helpful. I don't have notes all over the place anymore.
2 ★Out of Milk took a full minute to open and is nearly as slow to respond to adding items to lists. I've happily used this app for 6 years but the past year has been torture to use it because of frequent "app isn't responding" messages. I guess this treatment is retribution for not giving it location permission. Ready to dump it for paper again.
5 ★Out of milk has been a great way to keep track of what we need to get where, making shopping much more efficient and planned. It's also great for my husband and I to share lists. A few clunky tech issues ( after you click something you buy the item stays in the deleted list, making that list unmanageable ) but overall AWESOME.
5 ★'Out of milk' keeps getting better and better. I use it for things that I buy frequently like a regular grocery list and I use it for things I buy infrequently that I can never remember what the item or the item number is like printer ink cartridges and air filters for the house furnace. I also like the ability to share list with others. Example - when my wife is out and decides to stop at a grocery store I can send her a list of things and not have to text them to her individually.
4 ★Update: Recently the app has been significantly more stable, so I bumped it back up to 4 stars. Also, while it's missing a number of quality-of-life features, they have slowly added new features. Older review: Good idea but half of the features don't completely work and it will randomly remove my pro access and I'll have to go back to my app history and reinstall the pro unlocker.
3 ★I loved this app for years and didn't even mind the ads when they're were just a little window at the bottom, but now, every few seconds a new screen opens with some stupid survey that looks spammy and I can't block it. I'm looking for another app or going back to pen and paper.
