“Car Maintenance Reminder Lite” is an all-in-one car application that helps you to: (1). Keep track of mileage, fuel efficiency and cost; (2). Log services, and get maintenance reminder when a due date approaches.For the fuel logging function, the application automatically generates useful statistics about MPG, gas price, driving distance per day, volume per fill up, cost per day etc. It also provides TEN graphical charts (2.0.1 and up) for detailed and clear reports of your car’s mileage, fuel economy, costs etc.
For the maintenance reminder function, the application provides comprehensive logging and reminders for almost all regular car services based on both mileage and dates, such as oil change, tire rotation, wheel alignment, air filter change, coolant flush, transmission fluid change, brake pad change, timing belt replacement, annual inspection and spark plug replacement. Even more, you can create your own customized service reminders, log costs, and write notes about your cars, such as part number, state registration, appointment time, mechanic shop phone number etc. With just a glance at your phone, you will have all the service records at hand! Notifications at status bar will automatically show up to remind you when a service is due within a week, or 200 miles, so that you will never miss a needed maintenance.

2 ★You can backup data, but no way to import that data to the app if you get a new phone without being forced to PAY for the pro version. Total BS, guess its time to find a different app.
1 ★Last update frooze my G3. I E-Mailed with no responses at all. I was getting ready to back up and purchase the paid program for all the extra todo list, but uninstalled since I had no reply. So back to the drawing board to use another. Almost 2 years or data down the drain. Lost. Gone. All I needed was some help to try and save for the upgrade. No response! Deleted App.was 4 stars easy, now 1 star. Some reply was all I needed.
3 ★Good, but not great.. 1. The app should allow services and customised maintenance to be based on miles and/or time, NOT BOTH...2.. there is no provision for Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) as a fuel source.
4 ★I love this app, the only thing is, it isn't keeping up my mileage. For instance,I have it set for an estimated 12 miles a day and it only seems to be adding about five miles a day. Other than that, it's great.
4 ★Easy to use and customizabel. But zero support. Cannot move from one phone to another despite the instructions. Websiye riddled with spam as it is not maintained. I switched to AUTOsist which is similar and web based and continually supported.
4 ★This is for the PRO version, but since I got it from Amazon I can't leave feedback on Google Play because it's not technically installed... For anyone having issue with the restore function when switching to a new device. Here's what I did. Install the app, force a database backup without entering any new info. Take the exported "oilChange.db" file from your old SD card and place it in the CarMaintenanceReminder folder on your new device. When prompted to overwrite the existing file say 'Yes'. Now re-open the app and "Restore DB from SD card". I think what happens is that the folder the app wants to pull from doesn't exist until it's created after install. Because newer versions of Android use emulated location to look like SD cards it's hard to determine where exactly the app is looking. Hope this helps someone.

5 ★I love keeping track of things especially with my car, this app tells you gas mileage and costs and reminds you of oil changes and more if you'd like-- it does require you to be diligent in inputting info, but is easy to use and so worth it!
1 ★I had this pro version for many years. There is no support at all! Changed phones and could not get years of data. Loved it otherwise. Best app ever if they had support.
4 ★The app has worked great for me. I have read a lot of complaints about the backup/restore feature not working, especially when you transfer phones. I had issues with this, but I finally got something to work. I made a backup on my old phone (I tried a few directories and don't remember exactly which one worked). Connected the phone to my laptop and located the oilChange.db file and copied it to my laptop. I initially installed the free version on the new phone. I connected the new phone to my laptop and copied that file into the car maintenance folder on the phone. I tried many ways to get it to accept it and it didn't. I decided to fork over the $2.99 for the restore feature. Once I did that and hit restore from sdcard (even though my S6 has no sdcard) and all my data was back. Before you restore the data, you can check the db by downloading sqllitebrowser and opening the file to make sure your data is there. You will have to open the file in the pro version for your data to be there in the future. This worked for me.
1 ★After upgrading my phone and transferring all apps etc, I have no data. Need the pro version. However after reading a couple of reviews of people having issues with their data backups even with the pro version, I will not purchase the pro version. I will not recommend this app. I am disappointed that I 'lost' years of information.
