O Governo do Estado da Paraíba, em parceria com a Unimed João Pessoa e a Argus Tecnologia, disponibiliza de forma totalmente gratuita para a sociedade em geral, através dos seus dispositivos móveis, o aplicativo SOS CIDADÃO, desenvolvido integralmente em nosso Estado. Com esse aplicativo para aparelhos celulares será possível realizar, de forma rápida, prática e segura, chamadas de emergências para Polícia Militar e/ou Corpo de Bombeiros.Funcionalidades

O SOS cidadão é a mais nova ferramenta de auxílio a segurança da população paraibana. Através dela será mais rápido e prático ser atendido pelos serviços de emergência do estado.
Após um breve cadastro e liberação do CIOP/PB, o usuário terá automaticamente o acesso a ferramenta, e, sempre que preciso, poderá solicitar ajuda de forma bastante simples, sigilosa e rápida.

- Maior rapidez na solicitação, pois o usuário não terá que esperar para ser atendido. Sua solicitação irá diretamente para o setor responsável.
- Maior controle da solicitação, já que o você terá o seu protocolo.
- Maior precisão na sua localização, já que a mesma será recolhida automaticamente via GPS. A Polícia Militar e o Corpo de Bombeiros saberão de forma precisa quem está precisando ser atendido, e de onde está partindo o chamado de emergência e/ou urgência,
