O Sinesp Cidadão é um aplicativo do Sistema Nacional de Informações de Segurança Pública – Sinesp, que permite ao cidadão brasileiro acesso direto a serviços da Secretaria Nacional de Segurança Pública.O Sinesp Cidadão é composto pelos seguintes módulos:
Veículos: permite ao cidadão consultar a situação de roubo ou furto de qualquer veículo do Brasil, e constatar, a partir dos dados apresentados, se há clonagem do veículo.
Mandado de Prisão: permite consultar mandados de prisão que ainda não foram cumpridos, com a finalidade de comunicar à polícia. As informações são consultadas diretamente no Banco Nacional de Mandados de Prisão do Conselho Nacional de Justiça – BNMP/CNJ;
Desaparecidos: disponibiliza ao cidadão pesquisar pessoas que constam como desaparecidas. As informações são consultadas diretamente do Sinesp Integração, que integra registros de desaparecimentos realizados pelas Polícias Civis dos Estados.
AVISO! Em caso de confirmação de veículo roubado ou furtado ou de mandado de prisão em aberto, o cidadão deverá informar imediatamente à polícia através do telefone 190. Não deve tentar qualquer tipo de aproximação ou abordagem por conta própria.
