O SmartTriip é uma ferramenta desenvolvida para atender à regulamentação da ANTT para controle e monitoria de viagens de ônibus. Atendendo as especificações exigidas pela a Agência conforme descrito abaixo:O sistema consiste na instalação, em todos os ônibus da frota, de equipamento, homologado pela ANTT, que fará a transmissão de dados por meio de conexão móvel de dados (exemplos: EDGE, 3G). A Agência vai monitorar todas as viagens realizadas sob sua autorização/permissão e, no transporte regular de passageiros, acompanhará também, o cumprimento da programação horária e do itinerário.
O Monitriip permitirá o acompanhamento mais eficiente e eficaz da prestação dos serviços, com a automatização da coleta de dados e informações, possibilitando o aprimoramento da atuação da Agência e assegurando a prestação de serviços adequados aos usuários, conforme preconiza a missão institucional da ANTT.
