Il Sudoku è un gioco che si svolge su una scacchiera, formata da 9 righe e 9 colonne; complessivamente ci sono 81 caselle; partendo da sinistra e dall'alto le caselle appartenenti a tre righe e tre colonne contigue formano un riquadro con 9 caselle, in totale si hanno 9 riquadri.All'inizio del gioco sono già presenti in alcune caselle dei numeri, compresi tra 1 al 9. Questi numeri iniziali hanno la caratteristica che in ogni riga, in ogni colonna, in ogni riquadro sono tutti diversi tra di loro.
Scopo del gioco è di riempire tutte le caselle con numeri tra 1 e 9, in modo che in ogni riga, in ogni colonna, in ogni riquadro siano tutti diversi tra di loro, ossia ogni numero deve apparire una sola volta.
Nella guida allegata all'app è spiegato come procedere nel gioco e quali sono le funzioni dei comandi dell'app.
Per procedere velocemente nel gioco si consiglia di usare una penna o matita per smartphone.
All'avvio dell'app si ha una prima schermata di presentazione, dove si vedono con animazione le schermate dei numeri iniziali e le schermate complete con tutti i numeri. Toccando il pulsante "STOP" si interrompe la visualizzazione dell'animazione; se si tocca il pulsante "PLAY" riprende l'animazione.
Prima di passare alla successiva schermata è preferibile per una maggiore velocità del gioco disattivare l'animazione e l'audio di sfondo, toccando il pulsante "STOP" e il pulsante di pausa dell'audio.
Per passare alla successiva schermata toccare il pulsante "GIOCO" e si può giocare immediatamente dopo aver toccato il comando Facile o Difficile.
