Die htw saar TechnoPlus VocabApp ist die ideale Ergänzung zu dem an der htw saar entwickelten multimedialen Sprachlernprogramm TechnoPlus Englisch.Die App wurde auf der Grundlage einer Befragung von Studierenden der htw saar konzipiert und ist speziell auf die Bedürfnisse von Studierenden insbesondere in ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Studiengängen abgestimmt.
Derzeit enthält die App fast 2000 Begriffe aus dem Grundwortschatz sowie aus den Bereichen des Business Englisch und des Technischen Englisch. Der Grundwortschatzbereich trainiert gezielt den Wortschatz, der bei TechnoPlus Englisch als bekannt vorausgesetzt wird. Die Lerneinheiten aus dem Bereich Business Englisch und Technisches Englisch sind auf die Situations und Engineering Topics von TechnoPlus Englisch abgestimmt und werden kontinuierlich erweitert.
Die TechnoPlus VocabApp ist somit die perfekte mobile Ergänzung zum PC-gestützten Arbeiten mit TechnoPlus Englisch.
Der gesamte Wortschatz ist in thematisch ausgerichtete Vokabelpakete gegliedert.
• Sie trainieren gezielt Wortschatz aus für Sie relevanten Themengebieten.
• Jeder Begriff wird innerhalb verschiedener Satzkontexte vermittelt und aktiv trainiert
• Sie lernen also nicht nur den englischen Begriff und seine deutsche Entsprechung, sondern jeden Begriff direkt in seinem Kontext.
• Zu jedem Begriff sind außerdem vertonte Beispielsätze hinterlegt, mit deren Hilfe Sie sich auch die Aussprache des Begriffs im Satzkontext einprägen.
Für jedes Themengebiet werden eine Statistik und eine Lernstandskontrolle angeboten. So behalten Sie jederzeit den Überblick über Ihre Lernerfolge.
Die TechnoPlus VocabApp wurde im Rahmen der Forschungskooperation e&mLanguageLearning zwischen der htw saar und der EUROKEY Software GmbH entwickelt. Die verantwortliche Autorin, Dr. phil. Christine Sick, ist Professorin für Angewandte Sprachen, CALL (Computer-Assisted Language Learning), Multimedia und Distance Learning an der htw saar.
Für Studierende und Mitarbeiter/innen der htw saar ist die App kostenlos. Nach dem Start der App identifizieren Sie sich als Studierende einfach mit Ihrer Matrikelnummer bzw. als Mitarbeiter/in mit Ihrem persönlichen Zugangscode und haben Zugriff auf das gesamte Vokabular und alle Funktionen der App.
